No cherry in the second one, as they ran out of organic cherrys. Unlike my Adsa that hasnt even had the packs to run out of!

Yes there's a label on the back to say that there are no organic cherries left. I'm broken hearted:)

I know Locarr, but the nicer ones amongst us can live in hope? If my post persuades even one person to donate to their local food bank then I have achieved something.
By the way, I am normally a 'fill my attic with as much as possible' kind of person, but how many ww meals do any of us actually need? This is a fantastic opportunity for us to give to those far less fortunate at no cost to ourselves, in fact, some might even make a profit.

Never donated before reading this thread. Now do a monthly box for church who feed into a distribution network. :)
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

and please remember to report anybody that you feel is an AE or is trolling. Don't respond to them on the forum at all, just report, so the thread doesn't get unpleasant again. Thanks

    Is a timely reminder needed?

You're kidding yourself if you think even 1% of those on this thread donate to foodbanks etc...most are out to fill their garage/attic with as much as they can and couldn't give two hoot for anyone else...any surplus ends up on ebay or boot sales and they are happy to boast about it...

I don't think this is quite true locarr. The world is full of many very generous and warm hearted people, and I have had the pleasure of "meeting" many on this thread and elsewhere.

I and my family have also been the very grateful recipients of both donated meals and food parcels - the Salvtion Army Christmas hampers always a particular demonstration of folks' good hearts because in amongst the cans of soup and beans and carrots (usually lots of cans of carrots :)), there was always a Christmas pudding and a box of "posh" chocolates and a tin of biscuits. And often some extra treats for the kids. Don't underestimate how much of a lift this can bring into some households at Christmas. I still have the red boxes as a reminder.

It is very easy to be cynical, but the reality is that those peeps who donate really do make a difference and making a difference no matter how big or how small is what matters.
