Before I set on my journey into the abyss that is my oven, does anybody know if there is a limit to how much change you can take into a bank and put into your account please? A friend of mine said that banks only take £5 worth of change now is that right? I have been saving all my loose change over the year and have just counted it up only to be told Im stuck with it. TIA x

Depends where you bank - if it's a building society type (like nationwide) they only tend to take a couple, if it's a big bank ( natwest, Barclays, lloyds) they should take them all.
