Just popping in for a quick :hello:

Not been able to keep up with you all as real life has taken over for a bit. Nothing nasty just time consuming.

Just wanted to let Bubbs, Logie, Tigerwhite know that I am thinking of you and Happy Birthday to Morgy and belated wishes to anyone I have missed. :A

It's been quite nice not having to find homes for any bargains lately, house looks a lot tidier as have actually been using things and not adding to them. :o

I went shopping for the first time last night in about a week. Totally missed the £5 off £40 from the £20 spends over the weekend and could have done with it last night. Good job I had a clubcard one and a PP to use. Noticed a lot of the Bold liquid capsules are down to £4 so only £3 with the £1 coupons from the Ts mag from couple months ago. ;)

Must dash as still have lots to do this week, but hopefully will be back with you all next week. Take care everyone. :)

I bought the strawberry one on Saturday (with real money) :rotfl:

OH and DGS absolutely love it!! :D
  • Thanks to hampydoodums for this post:

Ok folks, update on the Real Food Mag. Picked up a few copies of the mag in store today. Inside the mag there are 2 Advertising Promotional inserts which fold out but are fixed inside the mag. These have MOC attached to the back of them . These inserts DO NOT appear in the .pdf version as they are an advertising promotion . If you can get your mitts on a copy they are defo worth saving.

The first insert comes between pages 46 and 47 (entitled Finest - eat drink and be merry). The voucher is for £2 off a £10 spend on Finest Food and drink, expires 6 Jan 13 . There is a also a code to redeem on an online shop. I know peeps are looking at doubling up some of their cc vouchers for finest wine/fizz and I believe this voucher would work in conjuction with that, so ideally spend from wed to get maximum benefit (wine festival) - please correct me if I'm wrong.

The second insert is between pages 86 and 87 and is advertising A fresh christmas feast. The last page has a coupon for £3 off £12 spend on dairy, valid until 30 Dec. Coupon includes christmas gift packs and cheese boards, excludes eggs. Suppose you could use it on the cheeseboard with the port.

Glad I picked up a few copies now. HTH

NB, be very careful clipping the coupons from the mag as the barcode is very easy to tear as it's right in the spine of the mag

I got my free goodie bag from Mr T's pharmacy and it had the free Colgate whitening toothbrush in worth £4 plus other bits and bobs.:j

As per above, in Mr T Real Food mag (xmas issue) various vouchers include £2 off a £10 Finest spend, so got 6 packs of fresh Finest chick/mozzarella ravioli and Finest mushroom ravioli, should be £2.50 each but 3 for 2, then used the Real food voucher and got extra £2 off as spent £10, so only cost me £8 and they are my OH's fave, gonna use the £3 off £12 Dairy spend next together with another Finest voucher and get Finest cheese!!! thanks hampydoodums....

Great to see the vinnies tin back but I don't think I dare shop for any more - the top of my cupboard is absolutely chokka and have more than we need for present giving if I try and push any more up there I think they may staart tumbling off

Same here - I haven't done a choc/biccy shop for over a fortnight as I just don't need any more, for gifts or consumption BUT now sitting reading that it may be back on ........it's like an itch that I really really need to scratch :rotfl:
  • Afternoon all

Apologies for last night, the black cloud is taking over this week and not coping very well :( having CBT this afternoon and always feel positive after that so hopefully better today.

Took my mister to work this morning and we stopped off at an asda near his work. Found Elizabeth Shaw Crisp so also picked up 2 FF's, will be checking that shortly. Also managed some wombling so fingers crossed on that front too.

Then to the Sainsburys near his work and again, no cameras so have given up. Did have a good rummage in a clearance box but when I took the items to the till most were still scanning at full price! Had a woman tutting behind me as I said I didn't want the full priced items. She then told me to hurry up as I was making her late for her doctors appointment and whilst trying to get DD to sit down in trolley seat (She doesn't wait well) I told her that there were many other tills she could go to including self service and that nobody was making her wait anywhere. I was quite entitled to check prices but by that point I think if I didn't have DD with me I would have really ripped into her. Even the cashier was huffing and puffing about checking prices and I was quite upset by the time I left, have tears in my eyes right now :( sorry for the rant

Hope everyone's ok today, hugs for all x
