Before I set on my journey into the abyss that is my oven, does anybody know if there is a limit to how much change you can take into a bank and put into your account please? A friend of mine said that banks only take £5 worth of change now is that right? I have been saving all my loose change over the year and have just counted it up only to be told Im stuck with it. TIA x
I took £80 into my bank to pay into my account in 1/2/5p's so long as its a bank you bank with and its not a really busy time ie friday lunch time, they should be ok with it especially if it is all bagged up ready to go

Yes thankyou. I got one for £336 on ebay. New, but opened packaging. I hope I have done the right thing. I am not good with this sort of thing. They have sold over 100 and their feedback is good. I will update you when I receive it...thanks for asking xBefore you assume, learn the facts,

Just asked how much this retails for as I couldn't see it on MSM, this is the reply!!!
Hi XXXXX - the product retails at £2.95, however they are at a reduced price of £2 at the moment. Therefore if you print a coupon, you will get a free 680g tub of yogurt, so it's definitely worth printing!:T"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Thanks silvercar and everyone that answered my question about the banks and their change policy. Looks like I will be doing a few trips to the bank then

Thank you. I will give it a go. I just wanted to put the money into my account. I have it in the proper amounts in their cash bags. I will make sure it is on a quiet day then and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again xBefore you assume, learn the facts,

Halifax are really strict on accepting change. The maximum they will accept is 5 bags. They've even complained when my partner and I were together and wanted to hand over something like 7 bags, eventhough we're both joint account holders there. I think they're just too lazy to put them on their scales. I've tried two branches of Halifax and they have the same policy.I took £80 into my bank to pay into my account in 1/2/5p's so long as its a bank you bank with and its not a really busy time ie friday lunch time, they should be ok with it especially if it is all bagged up ready to go
