    Evening everyone

Finally sat down! Boys are in bed and OH is watching football.

Busy day at work. Just baked some more cookies as the ones I made on Saturday have all gone! They are so yummy though - much nicer than shop ones. Home baking is no good for my waistline!

Home made chilli for tea, made by OH as he still has no sniff of a job.

Borrowed my brothers bread maker (he doesn't use it anymore and is sat in his garage) going to get some bread flour and yeast and have a go later on in the week.

Can't believe it's only 5 weeks to Christmas, we would normally be so organised but lack of ££ in December is worrying.

  • shalva I hope you and everyone around you keeps safe. My thoughts are with you and your family x

Made a delicious stew for tea. Am stuffed now!

I'm going to have a serious go through if our finances and the eating habits of the household. Things must change around here. I predict a riot!

Uolypool, well done to your OH! Hope your son is ok x

Flutterby, what excellent bargains. Am lucky if my local morrisons takes 20p off an item.

Well will be watching I'm a celeb soon. Yes, carp tv, but it's decent enough for my poor brain!

Take care all. Good night and sweet dreams

  • Evening everyone

Thought work was improving, I was wrong, been told off several times today not sure what to do, cant see anything else I can apply for, but dont want to keep changing my job or to quit as I found it much harder to get a job when I was out of work. I have also sent all paperwork reqd to car insurance co for claim. It will be such a hassle sorting things out, cant get a hire car as car was stolen. DH is away next week on a course and has to take the car so will struggle to get ds to scouts etc on local bus which is only 1 an hour.

os today Scrubbed the shower room with bleach now sparkling and grout is clean. Not sure how long it will stay that way with 3 males in the house.

Uolypool - Well done to your ds.
Beemuzed - sending ((hugs)) Hope your dh chemo goes ok tomorrow.
Shalva - thinking of you and your family.
Islandmaid - have saved the recipe too, look so tasty.
LW - thanks for the recipe for the christmas pud.
    Molly ((hugs))

Sorry If i have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one.take care

It might be an idea to ring the Scout leader & let them know...they may pass you on the way, or know of other parents who could help while you are without your car. Then you could set up a car pool for when you are mobile again, to help each other out?
  • Thanks Floss I will speak to the scout leader this week. I know most of the parents live in the village where the scouts are held, but its definately worth a try.

Am half asleep but must send all my loving thoughts to Shalva, I can't imagine what life must be like for you at the moment.

Uolypool: Well done your DS. It's no more than he deserves after all he has been through. Bet he's a lot happier than his tormentors are.

    Loving wishes to you all.
