I disagree. (a) OP wasn't rude/sarcastic - at least not what I can read now in the OP and (b) anyone who has had the experience of dealing with an off-shore call centre will empathise with the OP.
Furthermore, the number of threads on here referring to the poor quality of 3's off-shore call centre supports the point OP made.
biscuity - I think horsepills is the one who is out of line here, as you can see by the number of people who are trying to help you already. Welcome to the forum,
Edit:- Apparently you have to wait till your 12th post to be sarcastic - see horsepills' 12th post

Alright, steady on! I'm big enough to admit I'm wrong here. OP - I apologise.
Guys Dad - is it really necessary to take time out to trawl through my posts from years ago to make a point? I'd have happily apologised without being forum stalked :cool:0 -

Well, yes. There was nothing in the newbie's post that warranted you making that post which was simply there to tell them off. As I said, the post I can read now was neither sarcastic nor rude and as a first time poster they might have felt knocked back by your post, which brought absolutely nothing to the subject matter.
Stalking???? 30 seconds looking at your 1st 2 pages of posts when you were a newbie threw up that you were far more guilty of the "offence" you accused the OP of. Thought a visit from the ghost of Christmas past might be of benefit and people in glass houses etc......!
But, you have been decent enough to apologise to OP, who seems a genuine, polite contributor, and I am sure that they will appreciate that0 -

Really? They can still charge fo a notice period of 30 days, as that is what has already been agreed. The point remains, NO contract has a fixed term, it will continue for as long as you pay it. Even te Chief Exec knows that.0 -

Diamonds the majority of your advice on these forums completely disregards terms and conditions. I get the impression you get so many thanks in your posts because you tell people what they want to here... Not the reality of the situation.
A more suitable response would have been:
"In my opinion you should not be charged for service you have not received".
30 days notice is a very standard notice period. I am not going to get in the discussion of whether or not it is completely fair though.
Your best option is to use your PAC in the last week of validity... This gives you enough time to complete your transfer and allows you to get some use out of what you are paying for. For most people this is something you learn only through experience.0
