Hey, my first posting....I'm on a mission for me poor ole boyf who's tearing his hair out over Talk Talk. He's been with them since last year, all pretty ok, occasional loss of internet. But last month his phone, and therefore, course internet, was down for over a week. He was told they're updating the exchange, and normal services, blah, blah.....So back on line after some really frustrating, (you know the score) and time consuming calls listening to "we can work it out". Phew. However, he's been cut off for the last week again, and his general mood is not good!
I can't find the mentioned posting by Sunflower (feb/march), or the useful number provided by Gertie. Can any one help with this please?

Thanks for escalation number which boyf tried only to be told that the customer advisor couldn't talk to him, because he hadn't actually been through oftel. Need a ref number from them....
Have given him the email address of the chiefy and suggested that he does go to oftel as well. He's SO fed up, and really loosing the will to fight! He says, they've got the keys to his bank account, they'll help themselves each month even though they're providing nought. If he cancels the D/D, he'll end up with CCJ's and unable to sign up with any other company....meanwhile he's being mugged off by customer service and recieving texts from Talk Talk saying, we've fixed your line. (oh no you haven't). It stinks!
Thanks for your help anyway....0 -
Hi
Well just another case of "it depends who you get at the end of the line" syndrome. I certainly didn't give a reference number. Can only suggest that either try again or actually go to oftel.
Good luck anyway and keep going, it will come right in the end.
regards
