Hi NFH and all,
Whilst I appreciate that it's taken some time I can confirm that this issue has been resolved.
NFH, if you'd like to get in touch with me with your details via the link in our profile here I'm happy to arrange a reimbursement for the additional charges you've incurred when contacting us.
All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website.
To ensure that it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line and once our automated reply arrives update the thread with your email reference number and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?
Kind regards,
Lee

This does indeed appear to be fixed. Nothing was deducted from my balance when I entered the queue (and it was at this point that 25p was deducted previously). I gave up holding after 25 minutes, but I assume that the charge has been completely removed for callers from fixed lines rather than being moved to another point in the call.
Thanks for offering to refund the erroneous charges, but they had already been refunded by customer services.0 -
Thanks for posting this. Too many times when the Voda Reps get involved, we don't hear if their intervention was successful or not.
By taking the trouble to come back on and tell us, we can guage whether of not they still deserve their good reputation for effective action.0 -

I couldn't agree more Guys Dad.
Over the years we've helped a great many people on MSE but it's still rare to see posters returning to their threads with progress reports, which is a shame.
Anyhow, it's good to see a positive result here.
Kind regards,
