It has been over two months, so please forgive me for having the impression that this has been forgotten about. Why is it taking so long to investigate?

This has happened to me again. I dialled 08700 700191 from my fixed line and 25p was deducted from my Vodafone PAYG balance, even though my SIM card wasn't even in a phone. Furthermore, I held for an hour and never got through to an advisor.

Vodafone - please answer why this is still happening when I reported this almost three months ago. It's one thing to allow a security loophole like this, but knowingly to allow it to continue for so long is negligent.

Furthermore, when I queried the latest occurrence with Vodafone online customer services, I was told "as you are the pay as you go customer you will be charged for call customer service". Vodafone - if you're going to employ people in an offshore location, at least make sure they can read and write English.

Let's get this straight, Vodafone have been aware of a security loophole; that allows anyone to spend someone else's PAYG credit; for nearly three months and have not resolved the issue?

Why haven't you suspended the charges whilst this is investigated and pro-actively provided refund?

    Because It Is Vodafone.
Because the Web Reps exist there to plug the holes, not to solve problems and make improvements.

Can it really be true that Vodafone don't have an escalation system for security issues?

If they do is hard to believe that it is so slow acting.

It has been three months. What is causing this significant delay?

This thread was enough to tell me Vodafone are not to be considered for my two annual contracts coming up for renewal.

Vodafone, this is already costing you customers.

Nobody at Voda will read this except the Web Reps.
The Web Reps don't care about Voda losing customers as they have other agenda.
