I have a JSA Sanction. Question?

Just an update on this, I won my case. They replied a few weeks later to say they were perfectly happy with my explanation of the truth and that no further action was to be taken. Was very pleased with the outcome, as I had done nothing wrong. And the judge could see that from my evidence. Major credit to the decision makers. They are very fair and good people.
So basically everyone who criticised me was wrong, and I was right. And I'm back here to laugh at you all
lol

You can come back to laugh but it gets you nowhere... These sanctions are getting worse so watch out for next time0 -
I'm really glad you won your case User 1000. If they told you you didn't need to apply then it was the correct decision.:)
Just make sure you comply with their rules for future JSA payments and you won't have to go through all this worry again.0 -

yes, I was stitched up. I told them that, and won my case. Thus, I was proven right. And the people who said I was DEFINITELY at fault were wrong
Your case is totally different than mine. youwere rightly sanctioned. you could have spared half an hour, if you had wanted. the good old "sick child" excuse. nobody can prove it, and everyone is too embarrassed to call you on it when it involves a "sick child". Saw it all the time in my 1st job, loads of people pulling days off for sick children and stress. the two things that are impossible to prove. almost always on a weekend, or a late shift. funnily enough.
In my case I had been told i did not need to apply for a job, even after i said "won't i get in trouble for not applying?" then immediately sanctioned by the very same advisor, presumably after their daily sanction targets. i was stitched up and tricked. I was stupid for falling for it, admittedly. I should just have said yes i'd applied and that would have been the end of it. Luckily the decision maker understood this and found me innocent.
Last poster is right, got to be on guard with these lot. Luckily I am pretty sure I am starting work in the next few weeks so might not have to do this much longer.0
