Wow lots of news today
It has really turned cold today, so no washing done.
We had chicken casserole for dinner just the thing for this weather.
The funeral went well yesterday, well as well as funerals go, the chapel was packed. MIL was so upset, they had been friends for over 50 years , she was a lovely lady and well thought of by lots of people.
Uollypool I am so glad that the police have taken this seriously, that boy will find it very hard to get into another uni or get a job if he is convicted, sad really, but he has brought it upon himself. I hope the girls face the same treatment as well.
Nlj Well done to DS :T Have you heard anything about the bungalow yet?
esmf Sorry to hear that DH will be out of work, it always seems worse just before ChristmasI hope that he finds something else soon x
marie I hope BIL continues to improve x
halight I hope the scan goes well on Monday xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening allIt's been a bit manic here. We've had to reorganise the Rev's life since she had her op postponed for the second time. She'd got someone to cover the weddings, services etc until after Christmas but the new date is Dec 6th, so she can do some of her appointments herself, BUT she now has to find people to do things when she is out of action in January instead. It's a nightmare. If they cancel it a third time it will be a case for the men in white coats for sure.
Ah monnagran I feel yours and the Rev's pain! My op was postponed too. So annoying when you have rearranged everything to accomodate it, then have to just re-arranged it all again. Fingers crossed it will be on 6th.
I've had quite a nice day, went shopping for couple of hours and then went to see flakey friend and her baby. Lovely 3 hours spent there with them
Not sure what to have for tea. I'm not really hungry, so may have cheese&crackers rather than a meal.

uolypool brilliant to see bullies get their comeuppance Well done to standing up to them I hope the Plods throw the book at them
Well I did my big shop as planned and now cannot get another thing into the cupboards or fridge freezer so hopefully I can stay away from the shops for at least the next month if not more.I am away over Christmas and the new Year dipping between both of my DDs houses so I really only have just over four weeks to feed myself .Not a problem as I really did buy all the essentials and basic bits and bobs that I needed.I am hoping that its only Milk and maybe some F&V that I might run out of which I can buy from a little local farm shop.So no more pushing and shoving in the shops for me:j:j:j
DD is doing well and after my 'stern ' talking to this morning is off for at least another 5 weeks ,as she is on full pay its not a worry and she seems to have accepted that the more she rests the quicker she will get better
Weather very foggy and damp here in Kent so I'm glad I can now stay at home and have a potter around in the warm.
Have a good evening everyone
Cheers
