YES I KNOW I GOT THE DATE WRONG
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Friday 16th November 2012. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred.
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning BB & all who crosspost/follow
I'm hoping for a less soggy day today, I had so many people crying on my shoulder at work yesterday I thought I was going to end up with roomatics as my neighbour used to say.
Packups made, fish fed & I'm eating breakfast as I type.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Happy Friday :T:T
(Don't mean a lot too me at the moment as I'm not working)
Chilly here again this morning.
Not much on for me again today.
I might have a potter about in the Garden. There are a few things that need tidying up there for the winter. And the amount of leaves that have come down from trees In other people's Garden:eek: I should get then to tidy them up as they are there leaves,
This whole thing with Jimmy savale is dragging On. They are dragging more old perves up every day by the looks of things.
That on its own is ok. But we already have what looks like one person who has not done anything wrong had his face put all over the media, How many more Men will have the finger pointed at them when they have not done any wrong ?
I do think we have a right to know about these people, But only after they have been before a Judge and we know that they are Guilty.
Anyway I have a link to post from today Daily mail.

There are some stunning photo's at the link..
Well I hope that you all have a great day,
Enjoy yourself s:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Good morning everyone, grey and mizzly outside at the moment I spent most of yesterday stocktaking my cupboards and today I shall be shopping for the last (hopefully) of stuff for this month and probably next month as well.I want to try and see if I can get everything I need in one go then I don't have to go anywhere near a shop for at least until after Christmas ,apart from fresh milk and maybe fresh F&V.This way I can stay away from all the pushing and shoving and crowds, and the blooming musak that every shop has booming out in the impression that I really want to here Noddy Holder screeching at me where ever I go .I KNOW its Christmas its not something I could forget you plonker.I don't mind some gentle Christmas carols but that looped blooming 'Christmas tape ' that every shop has on drives me nuts .So I shall just get everything I need today and then only need to pop to the local farm shop for dairy and fruit and veg. There at least one can shop in peace and quiet.
I'm not really a grumpy old woman I just dislike music in shops when its busy, and lots of rude folk pushing and shoving around. There rant over I shall revert to the cheery old woman I normally am now:):)
DD is coming along nicely although it is hard to get her to put her a$$ to anchor as she will keep trying to do too much.I am going for a cuppa and a long chat after the school run this morning. Then its off to the shops with my list of things to get for my storecupboards
Hope you all have a good day, keep warm, dry and safe

Morning everyone
Been trying to post for last few days and just never managed it.
May be wallpapering lounge wall today, depends on whether my mum is well enough to help me.
If she isn't then it's a deep clean and a good tidy round.
Tea tonight I think can be bacon risotto, cooking has been a bit slack lately:o
Hugs and spoons all round xx

Morning all
BB - thanks, hope Jodie feels better soon
Well I managed to sleep for 8 hours :j still feel tired though! I can't believe I've had a week off and not been able to sleep well, I don't sleep great anyways but had hoped to get some more this week.
I didn't even get to cinema yday, I checked my voucher and it wasn't valid for Bondand there was nothing else on that I fancied. Plans for today include quick jog, pop to the big town to return few bits and go to M&S, then go see my other friend who has just had a baby. She is struggling a bit so I've offered to go around and help her for a few hours, or just let her sleep!
OS wise - laundry to go away, freezer meal for tea.
Have a good day all
