Tesco and their bought out guarantees

New member and my first post to the forum. I bought an LG Blu ray last December from Tesco for a half price at £34. Well it has gone wrong, so I phoned LG about getting it repaired and was told Tesco has bought out the guarantee and I would have to talk to Tesco. At a guess, the same qualifications as the person that you spoke to and who gave you incorrect advice.

The CAB is mainly staffed by volunteers, very few of whom have any formal legal training or qualifications.
