There is no catch at the moment ....what everyone is concerned about is how long it will continue but as far as I'm concerned it's make hay whilst the sun is shininghorsepills wrote: »What's the catch? Why is everyone talking about guff gaff instead of this?
It's not just about the money0 -
There is no comparision between Giffgaff and Ovivo. I was on Giffgaff but moved to Ovivo in August.
You have to pay for Giffgaff (PAYG) whereas Ovivo is completely free (NoPayasYouGo) after the first £10.
Ovivo is on the vodafone network - reasonably reliable
Giffgaff is on the O2 network - sometimes goes down.
Why would anyone consider Giffgaff, contract phones or whatever?0 -
Thanks everyone - you've given us alot tolook at
Guysdad - My Son is 12 so we will be paying for it he will be looking to use it for data so I will look at the 500mb deals0 -
When at home he can use the internet through wi-fi of the home internet connection and disable the data connection through 3G...It's rubbish anyway..Pathetically slow and rather useless. I always connect to the internet through free wi-fi hotspots when out and about. Thanks everyone - you've given us alot tolook at

500Mb is a huge data limit for a mobile phone especially for a 12 year old. Ovivo gives you 100Mb for free and that has been plenty for me for use in emergency (well it was not a real emergency but anyway I mean the occasional use).:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
