Well said...I also got the email and I completely agree! Yes I was very excited when I got the email, I told a few people and then had to embarrassingly say I am not actually going.

The poor woman now has to ring every single person and disappoint them. Just accept that this mistake has happened and forget about it.

How can you all be so devastated over something you never had?! I had the email too and though disappointed at first when I realised I hadn't really won, I got on with my day.

It was a simple mistake, stop trying to blag a freebie out of them by way of 'compensation'.

Agree that we are all human and that people make mistakes. It is a shame as it is horrible when you get excited and then feel let down. As we all know right now haha. On the compensation side.. well, a mistake is a mistake. Don't think they need to but wouldn't say no to sampling a pot of VO5
BUT all that said.. I think it is damn rude that they know they have made this mistake and have not mailed out to let people know yet! Think of the people who have got that mail and who do not know about this thread. GULP. Unfair I'd say! A mistake like that needs sorting quick sharp to save people embarrassing themselves and getting their hopes up.... they could sort out what they are going to do about it later. Just let them know they/we have NOT won.

i won a measly £10 comp from tesco - i won this in may - i think i have spent more on ringing them - i passed it over to ipm and 2 weeks later they havent had decency to reply - i will be damned big companies taking 1 p off me - it brings a bit of cheer ito my life:rotfl::rotfl:
