Slightly off-topic, but this Thanksgiving recipe could be a good Christmas Day option for DD.

That sounds really nice. I was going to make her a tofu hotpot which she loves, but i'll run this past her and see what she says. Thank you. x

M&S after dinner mints are suitable for vegans or they were a couple of weeks ago. There are quite a few things at Aldi in their Christmas range, there's a regular and black forest stollen, stollen bites, chocolate covered marzipan and some festive biscuits.

Haven't tried them myself, we were just sent a list from our local vegan group.

Aldi's Black Forrest Stollen is Vegan?
GF saw it but never had her reading glasses to check ingredients! She will be delighted!

Apparently so, as I said I haven't seen it with my own eyes but it's what an excited vegan told me!

    Hi

Im lactose intolerant and allergic to eggs, I seem to be ok with Aldi Mint Creme bars, they are about 69/89p and my hubby bought this stollen the other day, no milk or egg ingredients in there but the allergy advice says there might be traces. Will give it a try.
Will be interested to see if there is anything else out there I can eat as a treat xmas day!
