amen!
I think this is a big + point that most couriers could learn from tbh.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
I have never had a problem with DPD until today.
Yesterday I placed an online order for next day delivery. I received a text and email as usual with the one hour time slot 13:12 - 14:12. The parcel was supposed to be delivered this afternoon but I waited home all day anyways in case the driver was early or even late (with the weather). The one hour time slot came and went and still no delivery so I decided to track the parcel again thinking there would be a new updated time only to find it was showing at delivered at 13:12 today and signed in my surname.
I called DPD customer services and spoke to a very helpful lady. She tried to contact the driver but he had finished for today so is going to call him in the morning and get back to me.
I asked if maybe he was delayed because of the weather and took the parcels home/back to depot to be delivered tomorrow but she said if that was the case it wouldn't show as delivered. She somehow checked his GPS to find he had been in my street today so if that was the case then why has the parcel not been delivered?! I am beginning to think he is driving round, signing for the parcels himself and they are going missing!
I asked if he was the usual driver or a new driver and was told he is working for an agency. The usual driver knows my house so if it was him it wouldn't have been delivered to the wrong door. However, if it has been delivered to the wrong door then I don't think the tracking would show as delivered in my surname as usually when I receive a parcel, the driver asks for my surname before handing me the parcel. He enters the name into his hand held device and I then sign for it so it seems to me like the driver has signed for it himself.
Anyone else had this happen to them and the parcel turn up? as I am hoping it will arrive sometime tomorrow but it doesn't look promising as why would he drive in my street and not deliver it.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Always had great service from DPD until now...ordered 2 Soap and Glory sets from Boots last week, one arrived on Monday the other has apparently been "lost in transit."
I checked the tracking online and there was only one entry saying "consignment shipped." That was at Stoke, I can see from my other parcel that it should've arrived in Birmingham later that day.
Really disappointed with them as the set I bought has sold out so can't get a replacement and it's their fault I'm without
Think I may just need to get my stuff on the high street from now on "/0 -

Man that quite a jump.
The networks are bursting at the seams at the moment. It may turn up, give it some time, but accusing of theft based off no proof is pretty unfair to be honest...0 -
I've been really happy with DPD. Read this topic yesterday evening, but didn't add anything as I didn't want to jinx myself.
Well the last parcel I had ordered for christmas was due from them today, and I have just received an email to say it will be delayed :mad:0 -

I apologise, you're right. I wrote that in the heat of the moment and shouldn't have accused anyone of being dishonest "/
...maybe it will turn up.0
