Bennet is good, Benny for when he is being lovely and Bennet for when he is being a monkey0

I am so pleased for the little kitten that he found you, i am sure as someone else said you will wonder how you lived without him,
I am pleased too that he has seen a vet ,he will feel better and put weight on now he is wormed0 -
Well done for taking in this little kitten, I hope he thrives with you. Glad you've taken him to the vet, too0

Excellent. Getting his weight regularly checked is so handy- we had a teeny one that I homed to a friend, with us still paying for a weght check at the vets each week. (except the vet never charged)

Just a quick update he slept really well last night and has had some breakfast this morning , he has decided that he really likes a blanket we have and loves snuggling in that and been stroked and he loves his belly been rubbed. He seems to be coming out of his shell now and is looking round everywhere and strangley enough has really taken to our dog....who is a collie and he seems to have taken to little kitty in return although we wont be leaving them alone until we think they have def made friends so its supervised access at the moment!!! Our other cat has not taken very well at the moment but she is 16 and a tad grumpy so i'm hoping time will help this , although she is sat outside under the car at the moment in protest. Any suggestions on how we can help them get along would be great!!! Thank you for the name suggestions I am going to have to work on the other hakf for a name change although I really like Bennett!! I will keep posting so hopefully I can eventually post a picture!! Many Thanks for all the help so far it is appericiated0

As far as I know from speaking to neighbours there has only been 2 seen the one we have and the one that was lost to the dog....poor thing. Froom what i understand mum is around the area but is just not that keen on people but she is getting fed by one of the neighbours which is a relief. The man who is feeding mum has said if he can he will try and catch her and take her to a cat rescue or call the rspca. I will post when we get back from the vets with an update many thanks for your replies
Posts like this are such a joy, when you see wonderful people taking in these poor animals, and not just forgetting about poor mum too. I hope he can catch her, although he should probably contact them first as it's unlikely they will have a place for a Looooooooooong time and she needs to be neutered - they can issue a voucher so at least she can get speyed. Would be happy to help if he is in the London or Essex area by mailing a neutering application?Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
