That's what I hope for - esp for our kids, they hopefully will have a better relationship with him.

Sounds like he has a lot more to lose by losing you 3 than you are all losing from him..could be a shock to him when you turn a corner and are happy living without him.

Today's update- EX came round and repaired a leak for me, I think he wanted to take kids out after but they'd both arranged to meet friends.
He text me later saying he'd called kids to ask again but they hadn't answered or returned his calls.
I asked my eldest and he said he hadn't heard his mobile, he also said when dad was here he never wanted to do much ( I must add that's only recently ) and now he's left he wants to do things with them
Poor kid, I think he's really struggling

Today I've been given an appointment for some counselling .
My doctor offered it after my car crash, and with all that's been going on I'd forgot about it! But have to say now I'm really looking forward to going ( so not me to say that ) and what with everything else that's gone wrong I hope the councillor is ready for me!
To be honest ill try anything to heal some of the pain I'm feeling inside
Didn't hear back from college, but I'm going to keep in contact and keep my eyes open , so when something comes up I can get my feet in the door!:A

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about that sort of thing, but be proud of yourself for going and getting help. That's a huge step

One thing I will say, just as a reminder, is that they're there to help, not judge. Open up about anything and everything, even if you think it's irrelevant. And don't be afraid to show your emotion.

My counsellor commented on the fact that I was easy to 'work' with because I did just started talking from when I came into the room to when I left!! Others, he said, was like getting blood out of a stone I just knew that this was my shot at sorting stuff out in my head. I had the opportunity to speak to someone, so I made full use of my sessions

Normally it would be so not a thing I'd do,,,
But what with all that's gone on in my life recently I feel I nothing to lose!
I really think writing my diary / feelings on here have helped , and the response from people is so very supportive , so ill try the counselling , if I don't like , then at least I'd have given it a go!

hello all,
sorry not been about much, we have a massive problem wiyh our internet connection, why does everthing go wrong at once???
well things here have been up and down, i,ve been ok , keeping strong for my boys,
my EX is still like a stranger to me - why i.ll never know but thats how my life is now.
im keeping house tidy and being good with money, not yuet thought about xmas yet, thats another problem to come!
just wish my life was back to the good times
