I am declaring £302 for 2013 which I am really pleased with. I can't believe that it was possible to save this much without really noticing it. I will be banking the £300 and have put £2 back in the pot for 2014.

Hi Everyone catching with all the progress everyone has made this year

Since I started saving these my running total is now £1310 :eek: With £1000 banked and £310 in my tin.Saving for a posh new bed so will need a few more of the shiny ones before then.

Amazing that I haven't missed these at all and I am sure I wouldn't have saved this much under normal circumstances:rotfl:

I opened my tin today and paid £174 into the bank :j to go towards our very expensive time of the year. I'm a bit disappointed because my target was £300, but I'll just try harder next year

Oh and is there going to be a £2 savers club 2014? If so please can I rejoin with a target of £300 again, thanks x

I counted mine up yesterday and have a grand total of £114! I still haven't quite decided what to do with them yet though... I did have £144 but made a local eBay purchase which didn't take me near a cashpoint and the seller didn't mind me paying with coins, a good example of how they've come in handy though as I was broke otherwise and we've now got a lovely real teak floor in our entrance hall for less than £50!

Great to see so many totals, a question if I may:
My £2 pig has been eating those shiny coins since October 2011 and is quite a long way off full and I don't usually open my pigs and count them until they're full - am I still OK to join this challenge even though I don't count my pig or declare a total?
I enjoy the company and reading how everyone else is doing hope that's OK.

I can't seem to find the 2014 £2 savers club thread but I got 2 lovely big coins today, so I'll post on here instead £4 in my tin that I haven't bought yet :j
