    Oh dear!

He won't sleep easily in his bed tonight will he......

The man at the top never sleeps. He is omnipresent isn't he?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

I'm sure she'd give it a go if she got the chance.

No not AS levels, stop fishing LOL. The man at the top is (quite literally) the boss with the upstairs office. He's a lovely guy, as well as being the one who encouraged her in the first place, helped arrange the training etc. Also, crucially, he's the one who has to ensure they have appropriately qualified staff - and half his qualified staff have just been sacked.

    Hi OP,

Based on your recent posts, I don't see why you are concerned - it sounds as though your SD will be Prime Minister before she is 18 so I am sure this situation won't stand in her way.

Is she actually human, or some sort of diety? If her opinion of herself is anything like yours, no wonder her co workers don't like her.

BUT she was supposed to be popular with everyone?? and a child (ahem delete but strictly she is as she's under 18) prodigy to boot.

I don't know OP but it seems as if she's doing the age old trick of blowing her/her SD's trumpet.

She may well be an amazing person in other areas of life, be it thanked or not.

I can totally see why OP has decided to help her SD but strikes me as somewhat naive that she *let* (was it that?) this image be viewed/stay on her screen? and most youngsters (and older people) can have lapses in judgment too when viewing stuff on screen etc. All comes down to if you're caught or not. ;)
  • You make her sound that every one in Britain knows who this company and who your SD is.
'There are literally thousands of people in our county who have benefited, both financially and in an improved quality of life, from her efforts?'
Like seriously? If she managed this amount, why is she not on the newspapers already?

So did anyone here read what I wrote about it NOT being an electronic image?

Or the bit I wrote on here about her tantrumming ability? Does that really make it sound like I think she's perfect? Really?

Is she a prodigy? i wouldn't class her as one. I said Russell Group not Oxbridge. But, factually, she has a qualification that a lot of her colleagues don't which allows her more, better-paid work which they aren't legally permitted to do. Most of her colleagues weren't interested when they found out what the training and full job description entailed and of those who did try not many passed, not even her manager.

Can't you just say well done her for getting off her bum and doing things to better herself and others. I'm sure you'd be the first to criticise us if she couldn't be bothered and planned to spend the rest of her life on benefits and I was on here asking how she could avoid working.

I have never heard so much BS...............
17yo higher qualified than senior workers....what is she? the only english speaker in an illegal sweatshop?
on a zero hours contract............really? if she is so brilliant how come they haven't tied her down with a lucrative highly paid job?

'There are literally thousands of people in our county who have benefited, both financially and in an improved quality of life, from her efforts?'.........this takes the biscuit, was she running the charity single handed? its an insult to her co workers.
