17 yr old dismissed despite not being at fault

If any of this is true, a full time senior member of staff has been investigated and then [STRIKE]dismissed for gross misconduct[/STRIKE] left in one working week on the word of a 17 year old part time student and a number of other staff who have raised concerns and reported them to the police, who now intends to walz back in to the workplace and not expect any backlash from the other full time members of staff some of whom have been to the police about the person who has now left who will be aware how devastating it is to suddenly lose your sole source of income (not your pocket money). I would not lay any bets on the SD getting a warm reception when she goes back but, to be fair I'm only picking the half of the information that supports my viewpoint; I'm ignoring the rest. I also find it hard to see, even if SD's dismissal was unjust given that it was not illegal and didn't leave the charity open to any legal liability, how making that decision became a sackable (Oh, here I go again, inventing something that I can then repeat as fact! opps!)offence for the manager.
This charity does seem a bit trigger happy with its [STRIKE]P45s[/STRIKE] staff who leave
The OP might well have made this up, or they might not, but there's quite a few in this thread that have made up the "FACTS" they have used in their comments whilst accusing the OP of making things up. Which is a bit hypocritical really.
Of course, it's very unlikely that the OPs SD has higher qualifications than almost all the staff in the charity, but it's also very unlikely that a single jockey could win all 7 races at a meeting or that a football player could kick the ball over his left shoulder from 30 yards into the goal. But, unlikely is not the same as impossible. :cool:0 -
Does SD live in a caravan parked on the house they want to buys driveway???
That was an excellent Christmas thread.
Is SD the first female Father Christmas? FLying qualification is work related but helps thousands by delivering Christmas presents?NOT a NEWBIE!

Well, it's all become a bit of a fiasco because the OP has been intentionally vague, ambiguous and her posts, as has been pointed out, are often confusing and contradictory. It is fair to say the story sounded (and still sounds, to me) very far-fetched. There may be elements of truth in it who knows, but it's certainly been entertaining. I hope the SD really is artificially inseminating turkeys (ROTFL at that one) Now that really would 'benefit thousands of people'.. come Yuletide.0 -

I don't think this is the exact one, but it looks quite hilarious anyway.
