PLEASE REMEMBER THE IMAGE SHOWN IN THE BLOG IS ONLY A ROUGH DUMMY IMAGE. IT'S NOT FULLY LAID OUT - THE COLOURS, FONTS ETC AREN'T CLOSE TO BEING FINALISED. IT'S JUST TO GIVE YOU A LOOK AT THE WAY WE'RE GOING

  • I did not see any of the new site idea as I was away on holiday. Today is the first I have seen of it and like the new appearance. I do not like the tools on the right, prefer the look of the ones you have now.

The site does need a makeover after 4 years but what ever it looks like it will not stop me using it or recommending it to other people.

Good for you Martin. It takes guts to reconsider something as important as this and admit that you weren't happy with the design as it was.

I think the changes you have made are very sensible and would be happy for this version to go live. :T

    NOOOO It's not a You-Tube Advert - it's a site video - hosted on You-Tube - thought I think when we go live we'll use Google Video! :D

all perfect except i think the little section which has 'credit card tart alert' etc makes the site look too busy and confusing, too much information, i think take that out and if you definatly want the information on the front page put it under the tools bit

reehsetin - don't worry - its just that we haven't formatted or looked at the tools or site stats centre yet; they're the last thing to be done, i just wanted to get everyone a look as I know many are wondering what happened

Please make it work in Firefox - [strike]the 'screen sample' doesn't[/strike].

Doh - a left click scales it up from 32% to full screen (thanks MSE Dan).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I think it's key that Martin updates his photo to show off his new hairline ;)
