Iv'e already signed up for this as I couldn't find this thread, I was looking for Gov gateway.

So I signed up, they sent me some 12 digit code that I put in on the site and it said we will send you a username and password in the post within 7 days, that was 3 weeks ago.

I can't find a direct number, the job centre fobs me off.

I went to sign on Thursday just gone.

I told them this, she said you where told to register to gov gateway which was before a certain date, click off the g gateway site a link into ujmatch.

Done that and you need a user name and password which I do not have ( I already explained all this but she told me that nothing would come by post and that was a mistake saying it would and that I could log in with the 12 digit activation code, I explained that doesn't give me the user name and password I need to log in, as I have used it as what it is an 'actication code' )

It's like talking to a brick wall, even if they want to monitor me they can't as I have no way of logging in and can't apply for half of the vacancies because of this, which is great.

So I have sign to agree my advisor can look at my account ( I questioned and said so this is so you can monitor what I'm applying for etc....O no it's so we can match jobs and send them you....yeah right! )

Even though I have no login myself

What a great start to this universal c o c k up, like pretty much anything else the dwp has done.

I will take a p time job that pays the same as signing than be spied on when I have never been out of work for longer than a few months and always apply and find work and don't stand outside at 9 in the morning smoking weed and drinking special brew.

    What form ?

Are you using UJM, have you registered.

Maybe say you're using UJM without registering.

It's in terms & conditions that you keep id private.

  • I have worked out how to log in now.

I didn't tick the box to say they can view my profile but I have signed at the job centre to allow them too but I am yet to give them my login details.

I have seen a ujs form on the internet that says it's not mandatory and urging people to print it and show them this at the jc.

Is this still the case or will they start telling me they will stop my money as I have signed to agree??
  • What is the problem with everyone having them see your activity on UJM?

They are paying you every week arent they?

Why not just cooperate and let them help you back into work?

How is the UJM helping people back into work?

because it will match you to jobs and they can also send jobs to you through the site. many of these jobs wont be suitable but you will have to apply for them anyway or risk sanction. i am already registered on another site that matches me to jobs and 95% of the jobs have to be rejected because they are unsuitable.

So you think that it would be ok if your employer asked to see all your details and internet activity.

You think that it would be ok if your employer made your details easy to security breaches.

Have you not read the headlines about fake jobs and hackers.
