Is there any way of using these offers when using a really old phone?

I don't have internet access on my phone is there any way I can get this to work?

Just spotted more promos today including £5 off when you spend £10 at Starbucks and £5 off when you spend £20 at HMV!

You need GPS in your phone for Foursquare to work, so old phones are a no go.
  • Quick question.. I've downloaded FourSquare for my BlackBerry. When I was on Oxford Street this weekend (taking advantage of the Amex £25 for £50 promo!) I also tried out FourSquare for the first time.

So I found Gap, checked in and it revealed the promo. I'd already synced my Amex Card and it told me about the £10 for £10 Gap Deal. However, when signing up it told me about the "load to card" button I'd have to press but for the life of me I couldn't see anything.

So i just spent £10 in the store but no email or anything came through.

What AM I supposed to do on a BlackBerry? Should that button appear?

Can someone explain what I am supposed to do... and this is coming from a geek that works day in, day out in IT!

    Ta,

On iPhone you click the store then the promo and then another screen appears with a company logo, check in special and a load to card button
  • Found a new offer......

Spend £50 in House of Fraser and get £10 back
  • And another....

£10 off £50 in Fenwick department stores
  • The Gap offer was until early December, but now not there anymore. Is this usually to end an offer before the expiry on FourSquare?

And has anyone used Harvey Nichols to buy gift vouchers and got the £25 cashback? I assume they count.

For the West End deal of £25 off £50, I wanted to buy a Nespresso Machine at John Lewis that was on offer for £161, and I have 3 AMEX cards.

To do this, with the least amount of complication(*), I went to a till and purchased £50 in vouchers on card #1. I then went to another till and purchased an additional £50 in vouchers on card #2. I then went down to the kitchen department and purchased the machine with the vouchers and put the balance of £61 on card #3.

All the purchases, including the two for just gift vouchers, received the statement credit.

(*) I realise that this may sound more complicated than asking the till person to split my purchase across 3 cards, but the store was busy and I didn't mind queuing multiple times to simplify my and the till persons experience.
