does anyone know if the hmv offer is limited to one use per card, or can you go into hmv several times and every spend you do over £20 you can get the £5 credit??? Thinking of getting an amex card just for the hmv deal:D

No, it is just £5 per card. otherwise with some of the other deals such as spend £25 in Harvey Nic's and get £25 you would have people spending all day in the shop!!!!

And I can personally vouch for the fact it does not work!

When Amex was doing the £5 back for £5 spend shop small last month, I was stupid enough to let the mother in law borrow the card to visit a couple of shops near her home that were participating. The silly woman ran up 3 x £5 purchases on the card in a flower shop as she thought the spend £5 get £5 credit was unlimited

unsync the card then resync it.
  • I've just tried that and I've deleted foursquare an reinstalled it, do I have to actually have to be in the shop for the offer to show up on my phone?

I can see most offers on my laptop. I have been bringing up the offer screen and emailing the web address to my phone.
I can then click on the link from the email and it takes me straight to the offer.

I checked into one offer before leaving home as I knew that there was no internet connection at the Tesco I would be using.

I don't think any of us can find the GAP offer on our phones. It disappeared for me last Monday (a week ago)
  • Been to London yesterday and today. The Liberty £25 back for a £50 spend did NOT show on the app. Very disappointed!!!

Managed to get 3 x £25 in Harvey Nics though.

Tried and failed to find anything to buy in Urban Outfitters with the spend £50 get £25 back!!!! I guess that's a sign of of my advancing years! Was told by one of the girls at work that it was a fantastic shop!

Then buy a giftcard and sell it (to the girl at work?)
