Yes, more than once, even planning to split a restaurant bill tomorrow with 2 cards from the same account so £10 cashback not £5

I've just synched my Amex to Foursquare today. Is there a way to get a list of the current offers, before I actually get close to the shop and it shows up on my i-phone? Thanks

Used to be able to by clicking Specials and then Search this location. But since the app update, the Specials bit is broken and doesnt search for anything.

May be best to firstly click on Explore, then opt for Top Picks, and then click on the map, click on the little compass triangle on the top left, and then click on Search this location.

Have an interesting tip for y'all.

I was going to use the £5 off £20 in Argos for a steamer, and split the cost of the steamer (£70) across two Amex cards to get £10 off. The steamer was not stocked, so had to be ordered in. The steamer arrived a couple of days before it was due, and as a "surprise" as I was at work, Mrs MikeTaff decided to go and get it for me. she paid with the split Amex cards, but confessed to me later that night that she had completely forgotten about the FourSquare checkin as she was used to the £5 shop local where you don't need to do anything.

So that night I checked into both Foursquare accounts on the macbook and loaded the offers to the card anyway.

To my pleasant surprise, on checking the credit card statements today, we have received both £5 credits for the Argos purchases.

So if you forget to check in, or your phone is playing up, don't worry, it seems as long as you do it the same day you will still get your credit!

The update to the app broke the "Specials" search.

If you have the ability to roll back to the previous version (e.g. Titanium Backup users) or can get hold of the old version (e.g. from someone who has not updated, copying their apk using Airdroid), then the previous version continues to show the Specials.

Would anyone know with the Gap credit, can you use it at each store showing up on the Foursquare app, or just once in any Gap?

There are two branches in my local town, but not sue if I will get 2 x £10 credits if I shop at both?

No, you will just get the one £10. On the foursquare promotion it is per retailer, not per location. The £5 shop local offer is per location.

The only way to get multiple foursquare deals is to have multiple or supplementary cards registered to seperate foursquare accounts.
