This is correct, but only if the additional card has a DIFFERENT card number.

My platinum cashback AMEX has different card numbers for me and my wife. Both used to good effect for the £5 shop local and also the foursquare offer.

The MBNA issued United Airline AMEX has the same card number for me and my wife. Couldn't use both for any of the offers.

OK, so I'm registered and have both amex gold cards sync'ed. If I look at the iPhone app for "specials" it shows nothing at all in London. Shouldn't Harvey Nics come up? What is a "special" (the orange one)? Is the £25 cashback classified as something else?

I'm showing the same on the Foursquare app. I was working yesterday so I assume that there is an issue.

same problem here, when I try to search 'specials', it says no results for this search. Maybe there is a problem with the foursquare app at the moment.

i'm getting that too, i was going to rely on that when i go to lon don on sunday. i wonder if they have had an unprecedented amount of people using amex and just spending £5.perhaps they're getting worried that they are loosing too much and have asked four square to drop the publicity?

I hope they don't cancel the £25 cashback for West End VIP. I have about £200 lined up!

The shop small website map is still up and running. Just not very user friendly

Ok guys
I would like somebody to help with this matter.
I downloaded foursquare courtesy of moneysavingexperts and my first purchase went wrong..I did exactly what I was asked to do but the restaurant I went in they didn't accept american express but it show on my specials list..I went in the restaurant checked in ..load on my amex card and after having dinner when I made the payment. I was told they don't accept american express..As you guys can imagine I was peed off..
Please help me guys what shall I do..

You can try emailing Amex. if you're lucky they may credit you the £5 anyway, or they may just say "sorry"! I think they were giving the £5 anyway early on, but many people have found retailers on their list that don't accept Amex and are complaining, and as a result they just seem to be saying "sorry" now.

Did they put the card in the machine and try? I have been to a few shops where the assistant had no idea what an Amex card was, and said that they didn't accept it. When I returned to one of the shops a few days later, I didn't ask and put it straight in the machine and it was accepted! So now I don't ask, I just try in the machine. If it says 'not accepted' I make an excuse about getting another card from the car and leave empty handed. Of course that would be a bit more difficult in a restaurant!!!!

For anyone having problems viewing specials with the app- I have been browsing on my laptop and saving the offers, which then appear in my app under 'lists'
