  • Spent £51 in Shell which appeared on my statement on 14th Feb. Still no £15 credit. Getting nervous...

    I know it can take 'up to two billing cycles' but it shouldn't really should it? Only done it once before for Gap and I'm sure that credit appeared more or less the same day as transaction appeared.

    Waiting patiently...:o

    Yeah I'm sure the money will come next week, it's my MBNA Amex, would I need to contact MBNA directly or American Express? Not too sure and reading through the topic (and an old one), it's not overly clear.

    I've also done the same transaction on my AMEX Charge Card yesterday so hopefully that one is a bit quicker!
    I'd contact Amex initially - their customer service is so good that if they can't help then they'll be able to point you in the right direction I'm sure.

    Still waiting for Shell credit to show up. Mine's an MBNA Amex too. Looked at Amex site to see if I could contact them directly but you have to be registered and it wouldn't let me register my card. Doubt MBNA will have a clue what I'm talking about, but if I don't get a credit in the next few days I'll have to try it.
  • You can always contact them via https://sync.americanexpress.co.uk/Foursquare/CustomerService if you don't have an online account.

    I've just gone into itunes, clicked itunes store, went to the apps tab and searched foursquare and it came up to download.

    It says foursquare and its shown as social networking. it has a big white tick on a blue background.

    Is this genuinely the four square that everyone is referring to?
  • Carphonewarehouse have iTunes and apple and their own carphonewarehouse cards. One shop did have other cards but they were unable to activate.
  • Do Harrods sell iPods and kindles? And are they same price as other retailers or do they charge a premium?

    This is the one you'll want;

    Nothing on their website so I guess you need a store visit to confirm.
    What's the phone number for contacting Amex concerning foursquare?
    The number will be on the back of your card. Different cards have different phone numbers (i.e. British Airways Amex is different to Nectar Amex)

    Also just found a Menkind 10% foursquare discount listed in the forums here (not restricted to Amex users);

    Yes they have some Apple products (saw some iPads). Didn't see any Kindles unfortunately. They should be the same price as Apple set a pretty tight RRP.

    They stock a huge range of accessories, so maybe born_free buys iPod/Kindle from normal channels and vajazzles it with Harrods goodies ;)

    Harrods also have a sports section on the top floor with all sorts at pretty reasonable prices. Got some running shoes from Sweatshop there recently
