Some stores aren't that strict and will just refund onto a different card. I'd try that first and then ask for credit if it fails.

Gutted the other day, went to Cineworld on the 30th armed with 7 Amex cards to get £70 of gift cards for free but they'd run out. Grr!

Sure its been highlighted before but what happens/what can you do when the amount doesn't track?

I loaded the Starbucks offer on the app and spent £10 topping up my gift card but the £5 hasn't been added on my amex card.

If it is an American Express Amex contact them via the IM on the website and they will do a manual credit. I think other Amex card CS have been less helpful.

Same issue with Starbucks. Have contacted AMEX support and they have asked me to contact them again if credit does not appear within 7 business days.

I made my first purchase at Starbucks on 1st Jan after clicking Check in, I didn't realise that I had to then load to card, so no cashback this time. A quick question, can I load offers to my card a few days before I'm expecting to use them, as I have to do this on OH phone rather than mine and I obviously don't have his phone with me? TIA

You can load offers at any time and the check-in/load lasts until the offer ends. I always check-in and load offers at home on my wifi as soon as they become available. If you don't use them then it doesn't matter but it means you don't have to faff about on 3G when you're trying to shop or worry about what cards you have or haven't loaded etc.

Anyone else getting really !!!!ed off that there's no definitive way to see what offers are running?

It's all a bit hit and miss. Amex should have a dedicated offers website. Facebook doesn't cut it.
