Was this a Lloyd's card? I didn't get an email, but a message in the 4sq app
No, it's an Amex Gold. I never get emails from or or messages in foursquare for specials despite having all of the notifications setup on my iPhone and my email address verified. Also, on the foursquare website, it shows check-ins in my activity but nothing on redeeming specials.
During the shop small promotion I got instantaneous emails each time I used my card.
All credits were made within 2 working days of the special being redeemed0 -
Has anyone managed to get the AMEX specials to show with a windows phone? I've got a Nokia Lumia and can't get them to show up
I hooked OH mobile (PAYG) up to the home hub and installed fouresquare app and signed in with my foursquare details and the Amex specials were on there, could I check in to all the shops and load to card a few hours in advance, then go shopping? How long do they stay loaded to card?0 -

I too have a Lumia, and can confirm it doesn't work on Windows Phone. You need an iPhone, Android or Blackberry (like most apps).0 -
Hi guys
Does anyone if the GAP offer is per store? There are quite a few GAP stores in London and I can get quite a lot of free stuff if it is.0 -
-
No, it's one credit from any Gap per card - but note per card not per statement so you can get £20 with a supplementary cardholder
I thought the same thing but then it is odd what happened... I bought an item in November and I got the £10 credit.
But last week I saw the same item reduced so it was cheaper to return it and buy it again (even if they take the credit back).
Later I also bought something else from another GAP store.
So on the bank statement I have 1 credit of £10 in November and 1 debit and 2 credits of £10 in December
I did not want to query it with amex0 -

You've redeemed two different offers. The current one started Dec 5 but there was also one in November. Each time there is a new start date, you can redeem again.0 -

Yes I am aware of that but I returned the item which I bought in November after Dec 5 and I also made two new purchases during the second promotion period. So I think I have had my 2nd and 3rd credit of £10 from the 2nd promotion period.0 -

Ah, OK, they usually take the points back off on refunds but not sure how foursqaure works.
Were you able to load the special twice or did you just make the second purchase without loading and still got an extra £10 credit? Perhaps there is a loophole to take advantage of!0 -

The first time I checked in normally and I loaded the credit to the card before the purchase.
The second time I checked in immediately after the purchase and I saw the button 'load to card' so I thought I might get another credit (which I did not expect at all) but after I pressed it I got the message that the credit was already loaded.
Are there any terms and conditions for that offer? Maybe the offer is per participating GAP store?0
