I got engaged at 26 and will get married 6 days after my 27th Birthday! I wanted it to be the day before my Birthday but my friend put the kibosh on that by having to run an opera that day and begging me to have it on a different day!
Himself was 29 when he proposed in Tesco's car park, but will be 30 when we get married.Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

aye catowen.... i agree! same for me!!! had babies at 19 and 21, and now my eldest is gonna be 18 next month!!! damned scarey!!!
i was much too young, but now am doing the things i was gonna do before the smalls came along!! HOORAH!!!!

Engaged at 19, married at 21, first child at 23.
Now have two children and one grandchild, will have been married 29 years in October.0 -
I was 18 when I moved in with DH, 19 when we started going out together, 20 when I got engaged and 21 when I got married. We celebrated our third anniversary a fortnight ago.0

I love reading about youngsters getting engaged as it is proof that you are never too young to have a successful marriage (my friends would suggest otherwise)

Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0
