My parcel is still sitting in a warehouse somewhere lol. It is odd how much difference there has been in delivery times, as I know a few of you ordered on the 12th and have already had your parcel for a few days. :o Hopefully mine will turn up soon and then I can officially stop Christmas shopping. :)

Budgie is still waiting too, I've actually moved up this morning on the tracking to: "receipt at hub". Go me :D

They have also just emailed me an offer of a free hamper of £30 with a £45 spend.

    Budgie xxx

Ps I have just put the code on the code board.

Ditto. It has just changed to received at hub for me too. Deary me lol, it is one slow impulse purchase. :p
  • can anyone remember what was in the great taste gift,, i am missing chocolate stirrer not sure if anything else
A big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j

  • Unfortunately Whittard have replied and won't be sending me the missing chocolate stick:

"Please be aware that due to insufficient stock, this promotion was amended in its contents. We can however, assure you that the value of the items you received were to the same value of £20.00.

We apologise for any inconveniences caused."

I have no doubt that the great taste collection was worth £20 anyway but I liked the fact that you got a chocolate stick too as originally advertised. Out of good will they should just send something out similar in function to the stick. Nevermind. Just a warning to others who are thinking of e-mailing them to ask for the stick.

I got the Guatemalan Antigua Coffee bag, Strawberry and Kiwi Infusion loose tea, Luxury Hot Chocolate tub and Small Bag of Loose Himalayan Shangrala Black Tea (instead of the tea bags they originally advertised in the collection). No chocolate stirring stick.
  • That is a shame about the chocolate stick. I was planning on putting that with one of the additional packets of hot chocolate I ordered to create a mini chocolate hamper thing. :o

Mine is still 'at the hub' [whatever that means lol]. 7 days and counting...

Pleased to hear that :) I hope they include a chocolate stirring stick. Budgie is looking forward to hers. ;)

    Big hugs

  • That is a nice way to think of it - as a club lol. I just hope it turns up today, as I have only today off work. If it turns up when I'm at work, I've no idea where it will end up [as it isn't with the royal mail, who have a sorting office 5 minutes from here]. :o
