But it doesn't have to be true, does it? The wifes gran gets all these womens mags and they have fiction bits in. The mags pay for these, and if you're of a creative bent, you could always give it a go. I've also heard from acquaintances of dubious moral character that certain magazines aimed at more adult readers also have fictional accounts within them and pay rather well.

Don't forget - if you're thinking of using the cash to help pay off debts - you need to check whether you need to declare income, as it could affect any benefits you receive. Lizzie Bardsley (Wife Swap woman) was prosecuted for not declaring the income she made from magazine articles, even though she claimed she gave the cash to her relatives.

Just thought I'd mention that as something to think about:)

I've always used the same system, leave all projects to the last minute, then they either go away, like yours, or you really do have to do it under pressure and produce some of your best work, never let me down yet.

Reference selling the story....yes go for it but check with the secretary of state for defence first to make sure he approves.

And finally it's my OH's birthday today A couple of DVDs, some flowers etc and now were off out to dinner. I'm going to bring up the matter of the cat-woman outfit and see if she gives it the go ahead.

It was Sunday yesterday, the sabath. One can't work on the Lord's day!!
Besides, it was an assessment for a training course I was dodging yesterday, not work. Oh, and not one that was paid for by my clients - before you start!
