had nothing bit problems with talk talk phone/broadband/tv
mis-sold a package told one price being charged another and their head office says its tough there are no rules that state i can not be mis-sold!! this was from one of dido hardings oce officers at head office!!!! (she also said that "your not the only customer with this problem there are lots of other customers being mis-sold) but she says its not a problem!! and now refuses to discuss the mis selling as i asked for a letter of dead lock to take to the ombudsman and refuses to issue a letter!
slow broadband keeps locking up! sound problems with youview box that they refuse to send a new box to swap out even tho one of there support team say its a chip that is broken in the box!!!

Mirrors my experience of the CEO team, arrogant people, truly shocking for a CEO team & why I let TT cut me off, hold me to ransom with a denial of deadlock...I dont think so.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... yes unfortunately it was over the phonebut talk talk head office have the ceo officer on a recorded call saying that they are aware that mis selling is happening at talk talk and im not the only person complaining about it and in an ideal world their advisers should tell people the hidden terms and conditions and what the actual price of their contract is to be.
we where told our package for tv/bb/phone was £40 and there would be no month in adavnce charge on the bill, after a month we received our first bill with a flat rate charge of £50 and an additional £50 charge for a month in advance!
so talk talk are fully aware that they a ripping people off left right and centre and have admitted it to me over the phone but refuse to issue a letter of deadlock for this situation.0 -

i emailed dido harding direct with a list of all the problems we have with our service and asked for a personal reply but she has not yet replied but got one of the ceo team to deal with it who refuse to do anything!0 -
I've had nothing but problems since going live on 6/11, on the the 7th, i had a whole day of no internet that phone support couldn't sort, and wanted to send a bright spark engineer out on the 17th, totally ignoring what i told them that i've already tried changing microfilter, using test socket etc etc and since this bright spark engineer was not Openreach then what was he going to actually do?
Sent email to CEO office, and got a call from a "network engineer" who reset the router, and got internet back, i then had no internet again on Saturday morning, sent email to guy in CEO office now dealing with it, got reply back, that he was weekend off, and would do something on Monday, engineer that phoned me saw problem and reset router at 11.45am, but this was 6 hours of no net, and only back online due to someone else noticing the problem, otherwise it would have been no net all weekend.
Sent 2 emails asking to leave on Saturday, as im getting slower speeds than i was on o2, before i had a sync of 4.4, Talk Talk claimed 5.1 at point of sale, so ive gone from a decent speed where on demand stuff thru xbox worked fine, to actually getting a download speed on 3 with some line management on it, that has heart attacks with line errors and wants to keep putting my profile onto a 12 dB and a sync of 3 meg, with o2 it was 6dB, with no line managment.
Due to this, i can't get the live tv stuff thru You View, and i have a dodgy speed for the on demand stuff, this was supposed to be getting fitted 17/11, but i want away from Talk Talk before the box getting fitted confuses matters.
Never got a reply from the email i sent today, repeating i want to leave, the email i got this morning, just said wait for phone call from engineer at 4pm, they really are bad at listening, and certainly very lacking when getting asked any questions, when i said "why did o2 sync at 4.4), answer, maybe get Openreach out bla bla bla, still don't get the question or at the very least not going to answer why their sync is much lower, or why on a lower profile if DLM kicks in, why that would end up giving you no internet.
Just want rid of them, and back to o2, where my service was much better, i had a much better sync, and download/upload and no one trying to play God with my line.0 -
Since you clearly know your DLM's from your synch speeds, why on earth did you move from 02 to TT in the first place, given their reputation?No free lunch, and no free laptop0

To be honest, i wished i never did now, unfortunately all this knowledge of DLM and 12dB profiles only came about when i started having problems, maybe i was being naive, but when i was getting a sync of 4.4 from o2, and an estimate of 5.1 from TT, with o2 saying it maybe possible of a higher speed since Talk Talk may well be using newer equipment for their TV service, then i would have assumed that moving from one adsl2+ product to another would give the similar download speeds.
Hindsight would be a wonderful thing to have, but one thing i have learnt, is that Talk Talk is as bad as the reviews and posts on forums make them out to be.0 -
YouView is available for the price of the box from Richer Sounds, you don't need to sign a 2 year contract with TT to get it.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
