Hi having read somewhere on the old style saving I now use biological soap powder (shops own brand) in my dishwasher and vinegar for rinse add. I am lucky in that we don't need salt here as the waters really soft. Pots are always clean and no nasty taste left on the plates either.unneccesary spend challege £10 this week £4 petrol for day out0

Hi since being hooked on this site I have used a good squirt of Stardrops instead of dishwasher powder or tablets ( And I live in a soft water area but no trouble with too many bubbles ) and white vinegar instaed of rinse aid and all comes out sparkly clean --- except porridge pan of course !!!0

I did try value wsing powder-nothing wrong with the cleaning just the taste and smell it left. Same with the vinegar-not a smell I like. I may try a squirt of stardrops though next time. Cant get away with the salt due to being in a hard water area. Im still amazed that people buy the "5 in one" plus rinseaid and salt!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0
