Morning to my MSE family, hope everyone is keeping well. Massive hugs for everyone.

Yesterday was exhausting, We spend nearly 6 hours walking round the uni that ds2 wants to relocate to in Sept. It looks lovely and has some amazing facilities. He feels he will be happy here, especially as he saw someone who was in his 6th form doing the course he wants to do, she will be starting the 2nd year at the same time he will be if he goes there, She lives in the same town as us and commutes there everyday so he will have someone to travel there with.

Got home to even more texts from the idiots , really thought after one was suspended that they would have realised that we are going to take this as far as need be to ensure they are punished for their behaviour , guess they were at the end of the line when brains and common sense was being dished out;);)

So nothing was really done at home but we did get back to a georgeous roast chicken dinner made by dd. Was so greateful .

So washing ,cleaning and more cleaning to be done this weekend.

Am going to a Christmas craft fayre at the local footie club tomorrow morning, my nephew plays for the club and the raffle and tombola proceeds are going to the club so thought I had better do my bit.

Lamb casserole tonight using some diced lamb from the freezer ys from £3.50 to 46p.

Have lovely days all and thank you again for all your support, virtual kisses and hugs send to you all.

    Hi all

As usual, I'm catching up with the rear end of yesterday's thread....

Flutterby what a bummer about your op – but better that the murmur is found and dealt with.

Monnagran glad to hear that DS1 is doing something to get out of a clearly untenable situation. Don't fret about making a “me, me, me” post; if you can't share news like that with your pals here, where can you share it? Btw, I don't care for “fayres” either.;)

    * Has a quick look round for Cait's GUAG * Nope, no sign of it here. Maybe it's eloped with mine.:D

Uolypool I'm gobsmacked that those little t*rds are still sending texts. One would think they had something better to do with their time, at the very least!

I'm exhausted after doing a rather fraught visit to Mr T this morning - too many people in there for my comfort, and my wheelchair kept getting jostled,:( despite Mr LW's best efforts to protect me.

He's just bringing in egg'n' chips, :Aso I'd better go and eat now.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

flutterby ((hugs)) best to get it sorted soon though
    ((hugs)) to all in need.

I had a fab night and a long sleep and I don't feel too bad. We managed to find a pub in Central London that did a good freshly cooked meal for £4!! Think that helped. Not much will be done today as I'm off to see family later but the bathrooms have been given a good bleach and scrub.
    Enjoy the weekend everyone

  • Good afternoon everyone :)

Busy day here and have been cleaning and cooking all day but am very happy with the results.

Just waiting for someone to come and collect an ebay item then back to check all the cooling items for the freezer.

Chicken with mushroom sauce and rosti potatoes for dinner and a bottle of wine from Aldi.

Tomorrow looks like better weather so hope to strip the beds and clean the bedrooms while the washing is on. Currently have 7 bags of stuff for Oxfam in the hall and intend to double this tomorrow before I make the trip. I determined this mad house will be decluttered and tidy by Christmas.

Well wishes to sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Have a super evening :)

    Evening all,

I wondered if anyone had any advice. Basically I have been having problems with tooth over a number of years despite having lots of fillings and eventually a few weeks ago I had it removed.
So you would think that would be the end of it, no, still very achey in that area but I just thought this was a result of the extraxction. So last friday went back to say it was still hurting and they took another X-ray. Could see anything so gave ma a course of anti biotics which I finished today.
I still have horrendous toothache which has been awful today despite pain killers
I will go back to the dentist on Monday morning but does anyone have any ideas or advice in the mean time thanks x
