Morning all,
Raining here, typical when I have a small washing mountain, never mind it can go on the airer.
Need to drop dd at work in a while, then home to have a tidy through, OH can help with that.
Not sure what we are up to this afternoon, but I fancy going out somewhere, will have a think.
Dinner tonight will be the pizza from yesterday which we did not eat, so nice and easy tonight.
Carly I really think you need to have a good think about your relationship, you are obviously not at all happy, life is too short.
Have good days all xx0 -

I know just how you feel. I put on a pair of trousers yesterday that I hadn't worn for ages as I was convinced I was too large for them and they fitted perfectly.
Well done on your weight loss.:D0 -
Morning :hello:
First things first - I watched Prometheus last night and loved it. But am considering writing to Ridley Scott :rotfl: The big man has an alien burst out of him, then he dies on the floor near the door. In Alien, they find him dead in his big chair. How did he get from floor to chair?
I managed to stop mr tru sneaking unnecessary food in to the trolley yesterday. He insists on buying frozen wedges, I keep telling him how expensive they are compared to making your own. A couple of weeks ago he announced that he could make his own much cheaper, as if he was the only person to realise this and had actually invented it :rotfl: I bought a couple of cabbages, they were on offer (60p each) and were huge. So I'll chop and freeze those today. I'm trying to fill the freezer with healthy stuff so there's no room for rubbish. But I also want space for Christmas food, I'll have to put a few empty boxes in the back of the drawers to make it look full.
Not much happeneing today, apart from cabbage chopping and a quick tidy round.Bulletproof0 -
Morning all, raining here and grey. Was a bit lacklustre yesterday and didn't get much done other than some work. Feeling same today, think I must have caught a bug as got a horrible cough, sore chest and all I want to do is stay in bed. Most unlike me.
Will meet up with son and his carers later then up to my OH's for the rest of the weekend. Most of it will be spent watching the Rugby internationals. My Dad and OH used to play and I love the game.
Haven't got to worry about what's to eat as OH will do all that.
Housing Benefit Officer went to my son's home yesterday and now we have to wait to hear whether he agrees that my son is in suitable accomodation. The plan was for him to meet my son briefly so that he could see why a bungalow was needed and why the safety adaptations were needed. I've been told meeting went well, but no details, I get very anxious about stuff to do with my son and officialdom.

Morning all , had a lie in this morning which was nice but feel all behind now. Trying to get DH moving as we need to go to a big DIY shop for a special set of washers for our basin. Also have to do shopping and then come home to make a big vat of chilli as we are going to a bonfire do at a friends tonight, hope the rain stays away.
Hugs to all in need, glad your DD is on the mend JackieO, you fuss over her I'm sure she will enjoy it.Well done on the weight loss Julie and Moorhen DD and I are doing Wwatchers but not doing well at the moment. Hope everyone has a good day, sounds like we are all busy, hope you feel better nilj£180.00 in 'sistercas'fund
Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Electrician arrived early this morning and is working on dd's bathroom. When we looked at the other bathroom it had dodgy electrics done by previous owner ( and he was a builder  ) so decided to make sure other bathroom was made safe and replace fan in there as well as getting new loo, basin and retiling done.
It now looks better and should be safe to use. Turns out the wiring was dodgy so my instinct to get things checked was right.
Made breakfast for dds and DH and planning home made pizzas for tonight and maybe home made oven chips. Need to find something in freezer for tomorrow's lunch or else look for YS stuff tonight.
DH seems to love the home made kipper pate - even has some for breakfast. Ironic that the kipper or mackerel pate is much cheaper and easier to make than the chicken liver one I tried making last week and yet he much prefers them to chicken liver one.
Hugs to all and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Damp and miserable here todayDH is due home from work in a little while so his lemon tea is waiting.
No plans to do anything today. I was going to strip the beds, but I will wait for a dry day.
Funny, now it is raining my hands have eased off a bit, so I think that I will have a chill afternoon, watch the Return of the Jedi and catch up on some knitting.
Most of the housework is done, only thing left is some dusting.
Got some bargains in the co-op yesterday, ours is closing to move directly opposite into bigger premises so they are selling lots of stuff off cheaply.
nlj I hope that DS is given a bungalow especially to get him away from Mr Nasty, who is probably making your son's problems worse  positive vibes are winging DS's way x
xcarly talk to your BF about his so called friend and show him the email, if he takes his friend's side then get rid of him.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning All
JackieO - Glad your DD is getting on well, go spoil her!
FB - Hope you get sorted soon, I was told I had a heart murmer when I was pregnant with DS2 but not sure about it now.
Monnogran - Sounds like your DS had made a life changing decision, hope all goes well for him and enjoy your 'fayre'!
Been a poorly house here, I woke up very early on Friday morning with tummy ache and felt sick, and the toilet wouldn't let me go back to bed! Still, managed to go to work and went to a friends last night - a few of us had managed to find a date we could all meet. Drank flavoured water and had something to eat and felt much better so glad I went.
Got up when DD went to work and have been to L!dl and H@me Bargains, got a couple more christmas pressies for some kids who will be there.
I opened my £1 a day tin but was quite disappointed - there are obviously not as many days in my year as everyone elses! Still, £200 which has paid for DDs Kindle Fire that she wants for christmas. That has been ordered so it's another thing off the list.
Hugs to those in need, have a good weekend. Take care. XX0 -
Morning all, feeling a bit 'iffy' this morning, I am wake since 3.20, slept in fits and starts from then on, eventually got up at 7.30...cooked breakfast for OH and have been helping him with some photographic work since, house is a tip, and I have some washing to do, it will go on the airers indoors though as it is wet and cold outside. I need to hoover throughout, one of the dogs is moulting quite badly and there are tufts of hair everywhere...but I cannot find my 'get up and go today', anyone sees it please send it home. Got to get a move on, need to call to my parents shortly and then home as my DS and partner are calling this afternoon with the grandkids...hope all the poorlies have a good day, Monnagram, good that your DS made his decision finally, and he has your support which is important. JO, good to see Shelly on the mend too, no doubt you will spoil her rotten. Mmmm....can't remember anything else I read...will log on later to check up on you all, bye for now.Cait, at long last signing on:rotfl:0
