I've just come across this website, it's an auction for the Police. Stolen and lost property, there are some real bargains on their... bikes for £1
Unfortunately for me they all seem to be down south and if you're the lucky bidder you need to pick it up.
But if you live in the right area you could bag yourself a bargain.

You could do better than that and ask HMRC or UKBA or whatever they're called this week, what they do with the 5000 cars they steal every year off honest UK shoppers at Dover who dare to spend their hard earned money in other countries.

Just take a look at your friend Google.

After finding that first site by accident last night i've been searching a bit to see what Liverpool police do with all their stolen property. (If all the jokes are to be believed we must have more stuff pinched here than the rest of the Country)
Well i've found this with links for more areas.

  • As part of the sign up process for a nochex account nochex take a random amount up to £1.99 from your credit card account. Unlike most operators who then refund this Nochex treat it as a charge and do not refund.

I remember Nochex, if I recall there was a valid reason it had the word "No" in the title. ;)
