I think the once a month idea is best - I have put my £4.63 into a different piggy bank and will pay what ever is in there off one of my CCs every month.
Good Luck with hair - tell it to behave - and not spend!!

That's why my hair doesn't get cut very often. It behaves itself quite well :D Sorry to hear about your bf CAFC but youv'e got us ;)

I like the idea of a monthly list/total. I'm transferring my amount from acc to acc at the end of each the month and I will then decide what I'm going to tackle on my list :rotfl:

but hey it gives me more free time to chat to all my lovelies :)

    And me... ;)

Not a good day yesterday. Spent an unnecessary £7 on pop and pies and a sausage roll. There are in my fridge as an addition to my normal food - but I should have done them from scratch.

These ready meals - leading me astray.

I also failed in my personal challenge to not accelerate so hard in my car, and hence save petrol. But I had the opportunity yesterday to make a Honda Fireblade look like a pushbike. And I took it... :o

It's going OK I guess, though I live in a rather hilly area, so the opportunities for 5th aren't all that common. But what is making it hardest is I've become increasing irritated with my fellow motorist. Especially the tail-gaters. I'm starting to think about getting one of those LED signs put in my back window to pass on friendly messages...

The amount of times you get a boy-racer up your back end, weaving from side in their Clio trying to look to overtake. Then you come to a dual-carriageway, he pulls out, and I pull away - leaving him stranded in the middle of nowhere. The sign would be useful for displaying such messages as "Sell your exhaust son, and buy yourself a real car."

He did flash by about 30 secs later with a flashing neon sign saying "Wounded Ego Alert!".

Can I please get one thing cleared up in my own mind please?

If I go food shopping and put in biscuits, crisps etc does this come out of MY £10 budget or does this come out of the food budget. Also bought beer and wine in food shop and clothes for DD, does this count as an overspend? I did however transfer the cost of the clothes and alcohol from my spending account, but does this come out of MY £10 weekly spend? (although ONLY the wine was for ME) - If the answer to any of my questions is YES then I have a massive OVERSPEND

If no, but maybe the wine does as it was for ME and ME alone then I spent £4.48 of my £10 weekly spend (although didn't have any this week as don't get paid until tomorrow so effectively this is an OVERSPEND:mad:

Whilst confessing, also bought shorts for ME at £10 and haven't really budgetted for clothes this month so ......arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:mad:

ps Sorry to hear about bf Queenie, hope you feel better soon, but just think more time on here to crack your whip:eek: We had all better watch out :rotfl:
