Hi Peeps,Hopefully this 'puter will let me stay on line for a while!!I'm now at the end of one of my crappiest work weeks ever in my life - will have 'issues' and disciplinary things to deal with next week!! It feels so bed and personal when a member of staff who you trust lets you down big style!!I have spent as well - I deliberately withdrew £220 and spent £15 at the pubit didn't shift the problem, but I felt better & forgot the work troubles for a while.Seems to have been a very mixed week for peeps & I feel a bit out of it at the minute, but I again promise to be up and running soon. Was going to stay and chat tonight, but you must all be busy elsewher just now & old pops has just rang to say he will take me back to the pub & Pay!!!I'll be back!!

Oh dear, bought lunch again today, only £1.95 for a yummy sandwich, but I should have made lunch :(
I've just made lunch to take with me tomorrow. I hate working Saturdays though, especially when its a 6 day week and then I only get a one day weekend. I guess I shouldn't really complain as I do actually have a job that I enjoy. I have to work one Saturday in three, and can take a day off in lieu any time I like instead.

Spent £3.89 in McDonalds for my lunch and it wasnt' even nice

Need some help now. I'm gonna post on the OS board too, but you guys are my peeps ;) I've somehow managed to volunteer to cook for the potential-fella next week. Why? Why did I do it?! What the hell am I supposed to cook? Don't think he likes fish but apart from that we're fine. Oh, I don't really like pasta. Do I try casual, or do I unleash some charm? I've got candles somewhere... I really need to do this on a budget too! !!!!.

No spend day for me :) Came home from work early feeling pooey though - there's a tummy bug going round and I think I'm coming down with it :(

Candles are nice peach and make everything taste nicer and more romantic :) We've found Tesco regularly have some nice joints at silly prices about 8pm in our local store, if you can find one could you do a roast?

Hmmm. Roast like beef? That's a possible. With fancy veg maybe? I'll add it to my list, thanks ruthiejane :)

I've got dessert sorted btw, lemon marscapone sorbet with almond praline and shortbread. Mucho impressivo :D Plus I've made it before, so it's a nice safety net!

Should I do a starter? Suppose I should, give him the whole shebang!

I hope you don't mind a moan from me but I really need to let off steam.
After me spending nothing uneccesary for 4 weeks I spent £30 on a pair of shoes for me as I can't wear any of my shoes since I injured my foot last year. I decided to tackle DH again on his spending in local pub on way home from work and he then started shouting about me spending money on s**t. I thought he meant the shoes. It took ages to find out what he was talking about and eventually found out it was about £9.99 I spent on some netting to cover fruit bushes in the garden to keep birds off, so that we could all eat the fruit. So I am sorry I have totally blown my budget and have bought a bottle of wine or two, for me to have in the evenings and feel like I want to go and spend on more things totally unecessary, just for me. Grrrrrr!!!

    Hi all

Have the net back at home now Woo hooooooooooo! Not through work but hey ho

Wow it seems like everyone's had a naff week.

I don't think I'd care to admit this week how much I've spent, even if I knew

Getting it off my chest about my week. Started on last Sunday with the catapult incident. Raging hormones etc meant it really bothered me blah, blah, blah. VERY busy week in work with being 'buddy' to a new starter at Month End (I work in a finance dept so it's an uber busy time especially as we're at half year reporting) PLUS my Maternity replacement started on Monday too so I've been looking after 2 peeps while being at the busiest time of the month.

On Friday we were supposed to be taking our Month End database cut but because I didn't get my work finished we had to put it off till Monday. My boss wasn't impressed. My co-worker recons he was being a bit harsh about it but i felt soooooooo cr*p about it. Compounded by the fact that I was a state anyway as I got back to my car on Thursday after work to find that someone had redesigned the front of it for me. My car's not road legal  and so far to replace panels is £150 not including respraying to the colour of my car, and any other damage that might have been done. Needless to say there was no note left.

Suprising I'm feeling fab now as I've spent a NSD in the garden with my Mum sorting out the weeds, planting some freebie plants she donated and laying down some over due bark chippings to slow down the weed regrowth.

Next week's tactic is £2 per day Mon - Fri. Fingers crossed I'll be able to be more controlled next week :o
