Re. drinks - I find Sainsburys 54p bottles of squash are very economical. They are meant to make 20 servings, but if you don't have it very strong you can easily get up to 30 glasses out of a bottle, just diluted with tap water. There are loads of nice varieties too. I love the lemon & lime one, and the orange, lemon & pineapple.

Good to see you back CAFC - how's tricks?
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Yeah...managed another day with no spends which aint bad for a week off! Got one of my mags (psychologies) for a special 12 month offer of £1 per edition which is fab! When it goes onto full price its still only £2 compared to £3 in shops! Does anyone know where you can watch DVD's for free? Saw a thread but now cant find it!! Was sorely tempted today but resisted, twice so v. proud of myself! Had great "fun" filing all my bills & getting my 500 tesco points! Now on to hunt for cheaper car insurance....so much to days "off"!!

  • Nothing so far this week! I am truly amazed, usually I spend so much on random crap, so this thread is really helping me. :)

Listing stuff on ebay so I'll have those to pay, but hopefully I'll make a profit.

    :money:

Oh yes, I also agree Dandelion and burdock is foul. Tastes like drain cleaner!

Fishface - free dvds....join one of the dvd rental sites and they usually give you a month's free trial, sign up, watch as many as you like, then cancel before they start subscribing you properly...kerr ching! If you do it via Quidco, then it's a double whammy of cashback and free film!

    Hi,

U were up late Nanny Pippo - keep meaning to PM u but hvn't got round 2 it yet - hope all's well with u xx

CAFC - hope all's well and that this weeks better than last - hvn't had a chance to catch up properly.

I had to invest in a new pair of shoes for work yesterday coz hvn't got any left (am working hard on the dogs chewing problem now !!) - 12 squid from New Look. I've also got to get a pair heeled and then I can use them again.

I'm working on giving up smoking and have given up buying at least!! so that's a bit of my weekly budget free'd up and that's how I justified the shoes.

DD1's decided she doesn't want to carry on with dancing lessons - I might change the dancing school n get her started again but for the mo that free's up a bit of money 2.

I didn't put my money in envelopes so have lost track but have 22 pounds left til new budget on Mon.

Car's due for it's MOT 2moro so am taking it 2 garage to have it checked this morning. I know it needs smthing doing to the drive shaft. But that's all essential and I've managed to find a garage with an offer on MOT's for 19.99.
I've got enough petrol to last but not enough shopping so need to do a menu plan and need loo roll, washing powder n conditioner (all own brand).

Any1 else going to take part in Olympic Challenge take 2 starting on 14/07? I'm really excited about it coz had too much going to take part in the last one.
Anyway - better go n get myself ready - I'm always rushing about until about 7/8pm and then I just collapse in a heap and can't be a**ed to do anything. Is this normal?

    Hope every1 has a gr8 day,

    Luv Jxx
