Morning all! Last day "off" so going to make the best of it! Hope you feel better today Pippo! Got to get some work shoes today as none of previous ones fit!Jet I'm doing Olympic challenge and been sorting stuff to car boot & ebay - got 4 things listed yesterday & aming for same today! It is exhausting though & one of the things I learned last time (before slippage!) was that I overdid things a bit so trying to pace myself a bit this time round! Anyone got any ideas how to get babysitting jobs?

    Morning!
How is everyone today? I was just offered a job!! that never happens!! i dont know if i'l take it tho cos its working with the old biddies of my village but then its only 7 hours a wk but its a good wage for that little hours. And im thinking it would develope my phone and people skills! i hate using the phone and this would basically be all about organising lunches, trips etc so lots of phone use - any advice?! its local as well so i wouldnt spend a fortune going over to town every day. sorry it help me if i write everything out so please ignore this paragraph.

re baby sitting. People up here advertise in local papers, put ads up in shop windows, leave flyers in hairdressers etc that they are willing to babysit. i know its probably done differently in the cities but im sure theres plenty people looking for baby sitters!

not going to spend anything today! im not! i am not! helping cater a funeral lunch again today so its a few more pennies. wow im really rambling on now so i'll shut up. maybe its diet coke withdrawal!!

I spent 28 pounds in Tesco's, 1.50 in charity shop on book and 4.78 in Greengrocers.

So a bit over my 22 pounds that I had left - but I did get loads of reduced stuff in Tesco's.

    Hello

Popping on to say I'm still here, but I think my net connection at home has been completely cut off. Maybe work have finally twigged they've been paying for my connection still to work from home even thought I've not had a company laptop for the last 7 months :o:D

I can get on here from work but we're in the middle of our Month End and haven't had time to breathe the last 3 days  so haven't been able to get on

Confession time... I'm well over budget and have noooooo idea how much I've spent :o

I'm still here in spirit, and will try to pop on tomorrow. The weekendmight prove to be a bit difficult though until we get the net back. If I dissappear for a while, I am coming back, promise!

Congrats on the job offer ciara! Advice for dealing with people on the phone - smile! They can't see it, but they can hear it. Even if you're sticking two fingers up at the phone, keep chirpy til you hang up and swear blue murder at them ;)

Well done marksandsparksgal, you're making a great start at this :T

Not sure about the babysitting fishface - any local type shops you can put a few cards up in?

Good luck with the no smoking, jet!

No spend for me today :)

managed not to spend anything today. was a rough afternoon, catering for a funeral is depressing. Off to town early tomorrow for the cute archaeologist to get wine for the grand opening tomorrow night, free wine - cant complain!
cant believe its the weekend already!

I needed chocolate too CAFC. I've got to be soo careful not to start pigging out and I mean PIGGING again as I have been the past two days coz I would be sooooo depressed if I put all the weight I've lost back on.

I think that this week should be a write off and next week should be a fresh start. Can't be ar**editus set in for me yesterday - I had the laziest day possible - just read my book (pulled a sickie coz DD1 was poorly), then went to bed with the kids at 7.30.

Today I will not be lazy and will not pig out and will not spend money and will not smoke.

    Luv Jxx
