Well, just as I was about to put my savings from this month into my piggy bank, I blew it and spent £7.35 on newspapers & magazines!

I will, of course, give perfectly good reasons for doing so, but it was still unnecessary...AND, I blame the MSE website:
Yesterday I found the £2 off £5 spent voucher at WH Smith on the voucher site, then I read about a good gardening magazine on the gardening site, then today I read about all those freebies in the newspaper thread.
So I bought the Daily Express on top of my Saturday paper, plus the gardening mag, plus one more to get over £5 (by £2.35 oops). In return I got some good reads, extra points, a bottle of beer, hand cleaning gel and some glucosamine pills.

I will now hang my head in shame and get off the PC before I see any more good offers.....
    .......
    .......
    .......
........ but it was all well worth it:whistle:

Well, I had 80p all week, however after dragging kids round a 3 mile walk which did take 3 hours  it seemed cruel to refuse them an icecream.

I did nearl die when it cost £6.80  for four 99's but as we were in the middle of nowhere I guess they can charge anything.

But I still didn't go over £10 so I'm still pleased. We're staying in now so hopefully my grand total was £7.60 this week :j

    Hello One and All!

Great to see some newbies have joined in the challenge. Do remember to keep us posted with how you're getting on with the challenge, and any tips hints etc to help us all out!

Concert was fab and I had a really good time! Would defo see him again, good performer and not full of loads of filler stunts etc. Very happy!

    Right here's my confession time:
Out of my £100 to get new outfit, I spent £60. That got me jeans, shoes, top, accessories, and also a few new bits of summer like basic vest tops etc. God I love Primark!

I did have to pay for taxi to the party and for bf's sisters pressie, but bf gave me money back for that, but didnt have it all so owes me another £10.

Then I had to pay £12 for the coach home.

    PHEW!
    Glad thats all over!
If CAFCFan has sorted out row with bank, should have my interest free bank of mum and dad loan on wednesday so shall do the ring round and pay everyone off!

My no spends should be greatly improved now as the bf has moved back to his mums for summer break from uni. So I wont see him during the week which translates to I wont have to feed him!

Thats about all from me, looking forward to not spending anything now for this week apart from bills and food!
