    Aberdeen EM - 20%
Aberdeen Global Asian Smaller Companies - 5%
    Cadogan Petroleum - 5%
First State Asian Pacific Leaders - 20%
Invesco Perpetual Global Financial Capital - 10%
    Junior Oils Trust - 10%
    Schroeder Global Healthcare - 10%
Threadneedle UK Equity Alpha - 20%

Best performing is the Invesco fund which is up 20%, all of them are up at least 10% since i started 2 years ago, except Junior Oil Trust and CAD.

Worst performing is CAD which is down 65%. Will teach me to invest in sh1te risky junior oil and gas stocks when my PA dealing policy prevents me from selling in the first 6 months. I'll just leave it where it is and watch it slowly deteriorate to £0 to remind me not to do this again!

Here is my S&S ISA. I started investing just over three years ago, so it has changed quite a bit in that time. I am currently 14.2% up, which equates to 8.5% annual compound interest - because most of the money was added in the last 18 months.

My investing style is changing with time - I am much more conservative now, although I still keep XEL as a reminder of what happens when I make daft decisions! :rotfl:

    Ticker Company Name Proportion
    AV. Aviva 6%
    STAN Standard Chartered 16%
    AZN AstraZeneca 10%
    VOD Vodafone Group 12%
    SBRY Sainbury (J) 6%
    MGCR Morgan Crucible 5%
    FWEB Fiberweb 8%
    GKN GKN 6%
    XEL Xcite Energy 1%
    UTG1 Unite 6.125% 2020 13%
BGFD Baillie Gifford Japan Trust 8%
Vanguard Life Strategy 60% Equity 7%
    Cash 1%
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

 my strategy is the same. Currently 77% down on XEL and counting....

I bet there's a little bit of you thinking "ah, but it might come good again" ...... ;)

You obviously aren't doing it right, I'm well up on both of those. :D
  • Hi,

Since I started this thread I have personally not sold any of the my holdings and have recently been drip feeding into the following funds.

    Fidelity MoneyBuilder
    Franklin UK Mid Cap Fund
    Jupiter Financial Opportunities Fund

Out of interest has any of the original posters on this thread made any significant changes to their S&S portfolio over the last quarter with a view to predict this years winners?

I notice that China funds seem to recovered recently however have decided for now not to invest further as I feel that my portfolio is already quite heavy on Asia and emerging markets.

    Thoughts?

Not sold anything yet although I am considering selling some of my AAS as I think that Pacific ex Japan has grown well out of balance in my portfolio due to the last 3 year's performance.

I have quite recently bought a significant amount of DNDL (about 8% of my portfolio) - I have probably missed the boat a bit on this one but I am optimistic that smaller companies growth still has some steam left.
