Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

I saw the neighbour today and was very sad to hear that the poor little kitten has died.

I sympathised with the neighbour but did point out that 3 weeks was surely FAR too early to take the kitten away from it's mum.

Even though it wasn't my kitten, I'm gutted and just wish to God I could've done something - or anything - to help the poor little scrap.

Why do people have to be so irresponsible? I'm so sorry that the kitten didn't get much of a life.

    Rest In Peace little kitten

    I'm sorry for the kitten.

But if it has taught that stupid cow to never take one again that young - GOOD.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

So I still feel it's a shabby excuse.

Just thinking about that poor little mite - he did not "just die" from one sec to another. They MUST have seen him going downhill, never though to take him to vets though did they?

Kitty could have been saved and they would have got massive bollo....ing....

    :(

How sad for the poor wee kitten. Thanks for letting us know.

I wonder if your neighbour has taken on board your comments about it being too young to leave Mum?

There are some really stupid and heartless people out there.

I doubt it will have any impact whatsoever myself.

2222222222frddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddRIP little kitty, along with all the other little kitties who die so needlessly.

Possibly neighbours of the poor mum cat will think its a stray and take it to a vets for neutering.

It should be the law that all pets are neutered- it would save so much carnage. I would live to bury alive under dead bodies anybody that thinks its 'sweet' to let their cat have kittens. Okay, wouldn't get away with doing that- just make them work in a council pound holding the poor animals that are pts.

oops- just seen all the letters at the beginning- that was were the cat must have walked across the keyboard.
DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.

wondered what all the letters at the beginning of your post meant:rotfl: Now I know!

Saw the neighbour just now and she's on the look out for another kitten as her daughter was upset to lose the one they had.

I said she should remember that a kitten needs it's mum a LOT longer than the first 3 weeks of it's life, next time.

She did seem suitably ashamed and promised she would certainly not accept one so young next time.

Here's hoping that she means it.
