    Hi All,
Haven't been on for a few days, so I've got to catch up.

    :bdaycake: Adelight and Mr Meanmarie

JackieO Glad Shelly's op went okay, make sure she rests now.

I had to have an eye test this week, they do it every year beacause of my MS. Prescription had changed, and I had a few chuncks out of one lens after my fall. Even with all my NHS discounts it still cost me £172!

Had to get DD a new washing machine this week. The one she had was secondhand and it had lasted 4 years, so not bad. I got a new one by russell hobbs from Mr T for £150. Didn't think that was too bad.

Arm is playing up this week, I think it's nerve pain.:o

Still, the sun is shining at the moment so that's good!
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

    Hi all

Sunny and windy here, so Mr LW's shirts and trousers are merrily flapping in the breeze on the whirligig.:o

JackieO I'm so glad Shelley's op went so well; lots of GWS wishes for her, now, for a speedy recovery and return to normal.:o

Hoppy Birdday to Adelight and Mr Meanmarie hope both have a lovely day.

Well done to Miss Tru, and good luck for Monday.:o

Hilstep I have an eye test every year, too, because I'm taking Plaquenil. It's a nause, but we have a good optician, who is happy to book me into the downstairs consulting room (most people get sent upstairs). The painful bit is buying the specs though, eh?

I've just bunged ingredients for pizza dough in the BM; so guess what's for dins tonight?:D

Thankfully, Dylan's tick-bite seems to be healing up nicely, with no nasty after-effects.:o I'm continuing to bathe it once a day, as a precaution; he's fine about me doing this, though I suspect the promise of a biscuit afterwards helps no end.;) I was quite worried when he arrived - the tick got him when he went out for a last wee before getting in the car to come to me! But it seems his owner got it all out cleanly, thankfully.:T

    I can't believe he's two-thirds through his visit; it's gone really quickly.:o

  • Having a bit of a fly lady blitz and a make do and mend session today so i can chill out over the weekend ready for starting my new job on Monday understandably a little nervous :o.

So far hemmed up 2 pairs of work trousers
Polished all black shoes and boots and thrown out the ones beyond repair that are no longer water tight or i was walking on my socks in reality :o

Walked the dog while the sun was glorious this morning and now swishing and swiping and singing (badly) to the loud radio while i wait for the next load to come out the WM :p

Hugs and well wishes to those in need and happy birthday to the birthday bods.
Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.

Just before I log off for the day (want to load another game onto the laptop, and want to concentrate on it without the distraction of MSE);) I just thought I'd pop my head round the door to wish Spending Vs Saving all the best for Monday.:o I'm sure you'll be fine.;)

Haven't stopped all day. Went down to the Friday market to get some spuds and brussels, popped into Wilko to get some more tealight candles and a bottle of meths (Not for drinking I hasten to add :rotfl: for cleaning and using in the meths stove), we then went to the hospice CS and I was naughty and got three cook books one was from 1977 and two AWW cookbooks that I haven't got (They are the from the original series so I only need five more to complete the set) all three cost a whole £1 how decadent of me. :p

Came home and made a steak and kidney pie with roast potatoes and runner beans and we had that at 2.45pm, it was tasty. I had enough meat and pastry left to make some pasties so they have gone into the freezer for another day :D
Happy Birthday Mr Meanmarie and adelight animated-smileys-birthday-028.gif

Glad Shelley's op went well JackieO I hope that she gets well soon, but if she is being treated like a queen I would be inclined to stay as long as possible for the rest
    Well done Miss tru happy-cheerleader-130.gif

flutterby I hope all goes well at the hospital and that the op goes well next week x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
