That's ridiculous! What reason have they given?

Just 'undeliverable'. I have been in touch with Amazon and they have raised a query with City Link, so I'm waiting to hear what the excuse is. Can't imagine why they can't deliver to me since the Royal Mail can manage it without any problems. My address is correct, and I've had no cards put through the door (apart from Royal Mail ones which we've since collected from the sorting office).

I've re-ordered a few of the items and Amazon have agreed to honour the promotional prices but some of the things are now out of stock so I can't re-order

Of course, technically they're not out of stock, are they? They've just had one returned!!!

And I asked if they could make sure the re-order is sent by some other means, not City Link. They can't guarantee it - so I just have to keep my fingers crossed the order arrives this time.

What a nightmare! If it helps, my Yodel parcels that 'weren't able to be delivered' and were sent back to the service depot were delivered to me with no problems once Amazon stepped i. You might still get them, fingers crossed :)
"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."
  • I don't think they'll turn up now - Amazon have given refunds so they must have received them back. I've had quite a few emails and haven't gone though them all thoroughly, but I assume all 6 orders have been returned to Amazon :(

    how annoying for you!

got the last of my orders via yodel.. all in one box, fella knocked on door and went without giving us chance to answer.. lucky I spotted him there so sent daughter running down the street after him!.. said he'd been the day before but no one in... strange as we were, no card left, and tracking all stated in transit! :o

Is it nearly back? Is it nearly time? It was my first one last year, and this thread was as entertaining as the actual sale!!

Hehe... I really, really want those £5 boxes of wipes again, how sad am I?! Can't wait for the thread entertainment again either though and people stopped me making some drastically bad buys through the amusing remarks here! :D
