I got a phone call from Amazon in Ireland today, a lovely man said that as we had complained about missing Friday's deal they could still sell me one for the Lightning Deal price.

If you keep your fingers crossed and wish upon the Amazon fairy, they might get in touch with you too.

Apparently moaning does sometimes help!

Look at the speed between arrival scan and departure scan all of 43 seconds. Hope he wasn't lobbed around too much!

at some point this evening, my Jamie tracking was updated at last - it had been showing the same blooming thing since Saturday.

what it now says is:
24 Nov 2012 02:00:01 PM Middleton Van UK Delivery attempted, card left with customer with carrier contact detail

So, just to clarify today it has been updated to claim that they attempted delivery, and left a card on Saturday!

Oddly, this makes me suspect that it may arrive tomorrow!

Just had a nosy at today's deals. We have cat flaps and dog flaps and drinking fountain. Exciting times . I'm considering cbeebies album.... But think I st miss Black Friday. I woke up to 7 dispatched emails from amazon including Jamie.

Two of my orders (of the same items) haven't turned up, but I have to wait until Dec 1 until Amazon will send out replacements, despite the rest of the stuff I ordered that week all turning up on the same day (and being dumped in my porch).

One of my orders says that it's still sat in Nuneaton despite it arriving the day after ordering it!

And of the four still to come, one spent four days sat in Midloathian, and then spent one day going from there to the West Midlands and then up to Manchester and is now allegedly out for delivery. Another's still sat in Wales, and the other two are books from sellers so who knows when they'll grace my presence.

don't worry.. you are safe... as long as my Jamie doesn't end up with you

these deliveries are unreal... he's gone from Scotland to the midlands and been back in Manchester for a day but still not arrived!

Jamie was apparently delivered to me this morning, amazing since I wasn't at home. I can only imagine he's sat on my doorstep, cold and frightened and lonely, being leered at by passing druggies.

Or he may not have been delivered yet. This is Yodel after all.

My other 4 Yodel deliveries are apparently out for delivery for a third day. Delivery was apparently attempted yesterday at 4:15pm (although not updated until the evening). Getting a bit fed up to be honest.

On the other hand, played my new Wii fit Zumba game last night and it's great fun.

so far this month, Amazon have extended my Prime membership three times due to late/missing deliveries.

A word to the wise: if your tracking is updated in the evening with "attempted delivery" then the driver has run out of driving hours. It is likely it will turn up the next day but you should log it with Amazon anyway.
I use amazon chat for most of my complaints, as it allows me to sit and rant at the screen whilst maintaining a "civilised" conversation with customer service
