A huge thank you to all of you who recommended it which persuaded me to buy it. It's amazing. I've even been out in the rain and was able to get back through the door , it stayed smooth :j:j
Fab news I bought some myself. Looking forward to its arrival. Hope it can calm my frizz.0 -
The liquorice is back on lightening deal. Just waiting for Victoria and stripy socks. Deja vu anyone lol ?0

Morning all
Jamie is still in East Kilbride
On a more positive note I finally tracked down my penguins from the build a bear deal, left with the person who lives over the road. No card through my door though, which was helpful! Good old RM.
My cats would love that cat lodge on the lightning deals. Might just have a peek as to how much it is later.:)0 -
I would not be at all surprised if they show up tomorrow morning. Of course if they do, you'll send them right back won't you?
Well you were wrong- they didnt turn up -as HDNL insist they were already delivered at 9am on Friday!! Checked with my neighbours all the way down the estate- nothing at any of them either.
Yesterday my other yodel parcel did turn up however- in my dirty garden bin- full of wet garden waste - but at least they left me a card to say that was where they put it-though I could see it anyway as it was sticking out of the top of the bin in the driving rain- the packaging/cardboard box was ripped to bits too and soggy but at least the stuff inside (ginger ale) was well packaged up so no damage done- but all this has put me right off on line shopping!!0 -

Er no. Asked Amazon for a refund. Nothing else has arrived from my haul (except for the kipling bag which as I already said I gave to DD as it was too small)
I am officially regretting BF
You and me both- someone on another forum told me some drivers sign themselves and keep the stuff!! Too risky for me - I cant afford to throw money away and if I cant choose the courier firm I wont be ordering on line again- too stressful- I now have to go out and do my shopping!!:(0 -
My Tefal food processor order went astray - apparently sent back to the service depot after 2 failed delivery attempts on saturday & sunday last weekend at times when I was home. Grumpy guy a few roads away said they didn't deliver it to him.
Complained to Amazon yesterday morning and they tracked the parcel down - very grubby Yodel man turned up about an hour later with it. He stunk of fags and so did the parcel, I'm thankful it was an item for me and not for my little one!
Good old Yodel.
I don't think Jamie wants to live with me, I think he prefers Kilbride"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
My Jamie is still showing as being on the van, out for delivery...as it has been since early on Saturday morning! Amazon are supposed to be chasing it up and emailing me.
however, i was expecting two orders in one parcel yesterday, from HDNL/Yodel. At 8:10pm it was still showing as on the van, as it had been all day. Magically, by 9pm that changed to 12:00pm Delivery attempted, card left with customer with carrier contact detail. Obviously this was totally untrue - usual story, we were in all day, no card was left etc etc.
That parcel was actually delivered at 10am this morning! No explanation or apology given, and no knowledge of where on earth my poor Jamie is!0 -
Has ANYBODY received Jamie? He apparently left Glasgow 4 days ago...obviously taking the scenic route
I can't really complain about the couriers here (although the first item I had delivered did look as if it had been used as a football) We don't have the 'big' couriers, it's subcontracted to local ones, but that means we don't get weekend deliveries...0
